Ahoy! It be your local piratical reviewer! Comin' aboard with a short n' sweet review on Hearth's Light Potion Shop. A wee game 'bout brewin' potions. 've broken me thoughts down into Ayes and Nays in ye more common English for easier readin'. Ayes!

Hand drawn and simplistic yet charming graphical design. It goes very well with the laid back and cozy feeling i feel HLPS is trying to achieve
The brewing system it's pleasantly deceiving in complexity. You'll be managing flavours, ingredients that can both help and hinder you alongside side each type of potion demanding different things. The special requests in particular require a bit of forethought.
No pressure. You've got plenty of time to figure out a potion and there is relatively little consequence for failing a potion which once again feeds into that more laid back feeling.
Ere' Nor Thar

The upgrade system. I just don't like the idea the NPC's are also the place where you commission upgrades for your shop, I nearly always forget to click the icon to check what they have, I've had much preferred a central place to handle upgrades. Maybe a Book or a table somewhere in the shop.
Nays!

Controls. I've had about 2 hours and I still don't like the click to move the camera. It feels cumbersome. Picking up and placing down items also feeds into that feeling clunky as well. I've looked over the settings and can't seem to find any options relating to it. I'd also like to point out, you only can change video/gameplay settings from within the game, not at the start screen.
Overall, It's a pleasant game if nah a wee rough around the edges. If they can figure out tying movin' the camera t' simple mouse movement 'n havin' a central place t' do upgrades. The game could earn more doubloons. Be worth the gold thar be asking. 6.5/10 Gold Doubloons. A beautiful and simple game for in between, for people who love repetitive tasks I can clearly recommend it. It's relaxing and calming. However, if you like games with more action, this won't be for you :)
Great, relaxing game! Recommended for chill time
Heath's Light Potion Shop is an absolute gem of a game! From the charming graphics to the engaging gameplay, this game has it all. As the owner of a potion shop, you'll craft a variety of magical potions to satisfy the demands of your customers. The gameplay is addictive and highly satisfying, as you experiment with different ingredients and find the perfect balance to create the potions that your customers crave. But perhaps the best thing about Heath's Light Potion Shop is how relaxing and enjoyable it is to play. The game strikes the perfect balance between challenging and soothing, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a fun and engaging way to unwind after a long day. Overall, I highly recommend Heath's Light Potion Shop to anyone looking for a charming, engaging game that's sure to provide hours of fun and entertainment. Whether you're a fan of simulation games or just looking for something new to try, you won't be disappointed with this delightful game.
Cozy, simple, and none of that weird dungeoneering some games make you go through. The music is relaxing, and I appreciated the lack of count downs or timers. The only complaint I have (and this may be me being bad at games) is that the game is a bit *too* slow. Being forced to start over with brand new ingredients every day (until I saved several hundred coins to produce or retain 1 whole ingredient overnight) is a little frustrating, especially since 90% of the ones I receive appear to be perishable. I wish I could choose to purchase non-perishables, even if it was more difficult to utilise in return. I rate it 4/5! Definitely worth the money I paid, lovely little potion game.
Love it, this is so relaxing - I had a hard time putting it down last night, "just one more day!" Dev is super responsive too; camera was a little wonky for me when I first tried, I posted a suggestion in the discussion forums, BOOM, they made it happen. Awesome.
Cute and fun.
Super chill game. Make potions from ingredients purchased. Mellow game with enough thinking that you don't get bored.
Very wholesome game!
