Around October 2024 they Posted a Removal Announcement This Announcement got Deleted and Game is Still on Steam and Developer acting like nothing happend. so just a Promotion Move. Cant recommend this Developer/Game
I only bought "Haters" as a way to support and see some sort of game development from Ashnell before "Grandpa High on Retro" releases and let's just say I am pretty disappointed here. This was an idea changed at last second, from something that was gonna be a multiplayer "Fortnite" like shooter into a singleplayer walking simulator, okay whatever, let's just judge what we have currently. The game itself controls kinda sloppily, the physics are meh, but we also don't get a layout of any of the controls so we sprint most of the time without realizing we can just walk. Can't change any controls either. That's not even the worst part of the game, the worst part is lack of direction, you go through this sorta open forest thinking it's pretty straightforward until you get stuck because AHA it's misleading, causing you to retrack over and over just to finally get some momentum. Level design is a big portion of this as there are random platforms placed all around that do and will go nowhere. There is no story here, NONE, no cutscenes until the very end, nothing, you just load in and run forward until you get to some secret stash of ganja and the game ends. It just doesn't feel satisfying at any point. Would I recommend? Absolutely not. It just doesn't really do anything correctly besides being a title that actually loads. I will still purchase "Grandpa High on Retro" as that might be really cool, but skip "Haters" and purchase some other cheap indie game. This runs alright on Linux so if you do have a Steam Deck and really wanna play, well, you can.

I got this game really cheap, is simple the only things you do is climb, run, and jump, I saw there more features coming but for the time I had a good time. I beat the game in about 55 minutes, sometimes I couldn't find my way to the next area but that's part of the fun I guess. If you want to kill time this a great game for that.
I love this game! Please add baron on jetpack!
Good game. After that i never play games, thanks ma boy!
Hello this is very good game i hope you dont die and get assasinated keep going! also add Baron on jetpack
Its a relaxing game and getting to the next area can be challenging sences theres no help on how to get to the next area, theres some minor bugs, especially for climbing but I highly recommend it!
