About
Haste is a high-speed third-person running game, set in a collapsing universe. Race through a variety of worlds, master your movement and use items and abilities to progress through each level before it falls apart around you. The game consists of ten Shards, each featuring a collection of procedurally generated levels that must be completed without fail to unlock the next. You’ll encounter challenges and characters on your journey, seeking answers about what lies behind the destruction, and how to escape it!
Third-person high-speed running gameplay
Both single player and online co-op running
10 Shards, each featuring a collection of procedurally generated levels that must be completed without fail to advance to the next Shard
90+ Items that let you customize your build for each attempt to clear a Shard
A story to explore and a lovable cast of characters to befriend
Four spectacular biomes with several different variations
4 abilities to master and 4 different bosses to discover
An unlockable endless mode
Mind-blowing speed is key and every landing counts! Hit the ground running (literally) and you’ll build up speed, but if you fumble it will cost you. You’ll need to think fast and keep track of your ever-changing surroundings to escape before the world crumbles beneath your feet.
In your run you'll be able to collect Sparks to use in the shop levels to manifest items. Items help you customise your run, affecting speed, damage, luck, health and other variables.
Speed through procedurally generated levels as you make your way through each Shard, completing every level before you run out of lives to advance to the next. Gather items and experiment with builds to help you on your way. Your journey through the broken worlds will be unique to you as you try to outrun the apocalypse.
You can now play through the entire game with other Zoes! It's cooperative in that you work together to progress, but we also keep track of player times in levels, which allows for some friendly and pleasant competition. To keep your friends apart we have unlockable skins!

As Zoe, you’ll meet different characters to aid you on your journey, whether through wisdom, encouragement or items to assist you.

Games getting carried by the music tuttorial needs a heavy rework it start kinda slow but it turns addictive really fast
Haste is a game that has surprised me enormously in several aspects, starting with its tone... It's a colorful, lighthearted game with cheerful music, a pleasing style and colors, charismatic characters, and quite effective and fun mechanics... Except it isn't. The end of the universe—that's the main premise. The game opens with our protagonist absolutely terrified, fleeing from a void that consumes reality itself and all that follows. It immediately shifts to that premise: a colorful, pleasant, and even lighthearted game. Everything is fun until you're hit with that harsh dose of reality again. Characters talk about how terrifying and fascinating the situation is, about the loss of their families and homes, about the importance of survival, life and death, fighting against fate, defining who you are... before immediately returning to the cheerful running gameplay. It's simply fantastic. The way this contrast is executed is magnificent and evident in hundreds of details, both narrative and visual. It's the aspect I loved most about the entire experience, and that alone is enough for me to recommend it. However, it is a game, so it's wise to mention its other aspects. The mechanics are simple yet varied, offering a surprisingly high level of complexity to master, with a considerable challenge in various instances through stages filled with all sorts of obstacles. The visuals are magnificent, incredibly charismatic, and varied in every aspect. I particularly appreciate the design of the bosses and the other elements related to the Agency—designs that aren't necessarily unique but have a lot of personality. The OST has several catchy tracks. And the narrative is fantastic; nothing particularly groundbreaking, but its execution alone made me love it. There's really little to mention, aside from minor complaints about inconsistent mechanics or the level of grinding required for certain unlockables, but these are fairly minor issues, inconveniences that didn't ruin the overall experience in the more than 19 hours I invested and all the hours I plan to invest in the future. Highly recommended.
Haste is simply that type of game you can just get into easily while still being fun. the game doesnt get stale because of the variable routes and items you can manifest along the way and the gameplay itself is addicting. you can just enter a flow state and just start hitting many consecutive perfect landings. the story is good for what it is, this game is obviously not meant to be story-focused. and the customisation does give you something to strive for after finishing the final shard but the game doesnt rely on it that much. The endless shard is really fun sometimes but it does get stale for me because I find variation fun. and endless runs don't give you shops, expert fragments, quests and bosses like normal shard do. wich is a very personal nitpick 8/10 game, I love how simple it is but I do have *some* nitpicks
Безумная скорость обеспечена....
Best modern sonic alternative. Loved it. 5-6 hour-ish campaign but ive played for nearly 30 hours its that good.
Very fun auto runner, reminds me a bit of 3D Sonic levels. The movement system and the way you need to pick up speed by flying off ramps, then landing at the right angle is cool and takes some time to get the flow going. The game itself isn't very hard, but some of the random levels are really annoying with the timing of the landings or the placement of the hazards. I can manage to get most levels without taking damage, then one level has a weird hill disposition, making it very annoying to pick up speed. I even had a level where several pits (which are instakills) are placed in a row and required me to do several curve manuevers to go across. I liked that you can select every level in advance and play them in one go instead of going to the map after every level to plot your course. Graphics are nice and the soundtrack is very good. The characters have cool designs and a lot of personality, although you can only see that in small doses. The bosses are cool, but can be rather unfair if you are unlucky with items. The snake boss of level 3 was killing me in one hit at full health. Its a shame that they start to repeat, with only 3 different regular bosses and one final boss that is incredibly easy. Getting new tools takes some grinding (ie, repeating levels over and over) and I don't think they are as good as the starting one. I think the jet board is the most useful tool you can have. The ending was pretty cool, but it reminded me a lot of the ending of Outer Wilds.
Oui.
Fantastic game! Sonic would be proud.
Although, the final fight was pretty ars.
Looking forward for more interesting titles like this or even a sequel.
