Hamster Hustle will always hold a special place in my library because my Dad bought it for me on Christmas Day. The funny thing is, I was absolutely terrible at the game and honestly, I still am. Any matches against real players usually ended with me getting destroyed before I even knew where the shots came from. Because of that, most of my time in HH was spent online against russians and femboys on Tunnel Vision or Criss Cross and just playing at my own pace without getting instantly humbled by people with thousands of hours. However when I did hop online it was for king of the hill and war tag servers. Even now, years later, I still reinstall Hamster Hustle every now and then. Not because I suddenly became good at it, but because the game feels tied to a simpler era of gaming for me.
