Its an interesting concept. But as others have mentioned there is no substance yet. I had to play around a bit and lost a lot but I have figured out a winning strategy which wins every single game. But its still early access so I am hoping it becomes deeper, always nice to see indie games anyway

if you are into history, you will definitely find this game interesting. for this price it is definitely worth trying. for me, a history lover, the game pulled me in and made me spend a lot of hours in it and it was really fun. game definitely needs polishing and improvements here and there, and this is normal for an early access game. it constantly gets updated and improved a lot since when i first played the demo. i am looking forward to play the full version.

UPDATED REVIEW: The game was a LOT of fun when it was in Early Access. But the final release turned the game from a unique, REALLY fun soccer management/tactical ancients wargame mashup into just another bad ancients wargame. It now plays like one of those $0.99 ex-Bolshevik shovelware titles that all have names like "Epic Battle of War Rage". At least I got my $4.50 of fun out of it BEFORE the developer ruined it while simultaneously raising the price. Man, I wish you all could have played this when it first came out...it was sooooooo cool. =========================== ORIGINAL REVIEW: Ancient/medieval battle games. Soccer management sims. BUYER BEWARE! Lied about updates. Released another crappy broken game. Completely changed this 'game' before dumping it as a 1.0. Check the other reviews. They aren't even describing this game. Clearly fake reviews.

The main idea of ​​the game is very good. Of course, as in every early access game, there are areas for improvement, but it is really fun to engage in battles with historical leaders as if you were managing a football club. I advise.

It's a fun game with cool and unique concept. It has a lot potential. I am looking forward to see the next updates.

The music is great and by far the best part of this game. Why do so many leaders have proficiency in a different type than the one they are listed as? It is SO frustrating to spend 500 to scout for a renowned leader only for them to have this issue. Also, there are a LOT of bugs - swapping leaders onto a unit can glitch and cause all sorts of visual issues as well as locking the leader to the unit. Controlling units strategically in battle is very limited to where the game feels like most of what happens is out of your control. There are some good concepts but this game is FAR from fleshed out - cannot recommend.
