The game itself has a lot of potential if the Devs stick with it, but I don't know if they are anymore at this point when the player base is down to just a few people. Can still find a game, but it's just one server which unfortunately is a controller only server. So you have to have a controller in order to play. Which would be fine, but the controls are horrendous and aren't modernized at all when it would be easy to do so. Again which would be fine if you could easily rebind the keys. Which you can to extent. Because while in the menu to rebind keys the wording for the actions are basically Dev speak. Like this button for X or Y Axis and what not. It makes it extremely difficult to change the controls. If the Devs can fix that issue and modernize the controls more and get it up to the standards of modern shooters then I can see the game bringing back players. The gameplay is there and is pretty good if you loved the old Socom games back on the PS2. Which I did, but even those 15 year old games played better control wise. Willing to recommend the game if the Devs fix the issues especially the controls which is my biggest gripe, but I don't think they will. I think it's pretty much abandoned at this point. Which is a shame.

if you like socom 2, then you will like this.
Straight garbage. 15 people play this and they all know each other. Controls are horrible and don't represent SOCOM at all. Graphics are non-existent. I dream of the day SONY wakes up and reboots the real SOCOM. Got the PS5 reeady.
Just like old times.
just buy the game and learn how to play stick with it it gets better in time
