Fun and unique, Difficulty is optional so if you find yourself stuck in one level you can lower it, which is nice. I personally enjoyed the hardcore difficulty, as it never felt like any death wasn't my fault. Great level design, fun story, Worth the like 10$ price, possibly 15 if they added like a boss rush in the survival mode or something. Weapons were fun to use, but you can tell the game was built around the sword and shield gameplay style. Great game, would recommend.
Отличный шутан на пару вечеров. Играем за барышню, вооруженную мечом и щитом. Уничтожая врагов, можем присваивать себе их пушки (штук 7 разных), но с весьма ограниченным боезапасом. Щит отражает всё и вся, но поднимать его можно буквально на пару секунд, потом - перезарядка. Здоровья мало - ошибок не прощает. Сложность на нормале достойная, кому мало - есть хард. 12 уровней (+6 бонусных), 3 босса, за прохождение ставят оценки. Помимо обычного раненган-платформинга есть уровни с автоскроллингом и выживалки (в тесной комнате отбивать волны мобов). Сюжет на 2 строчки, музон незапоминающийся, но игре подходит.

Gunborg: Dark Matters is a 2D Precision Platformer where you play as Valeria, a mercenary who landed on an enemy warship and tries to find the source of power in the ship, only to find herself involved in a big operation. The game offers 12 stages divided into 3 big different zones where you fight you way through multiple enemies who will try to shoot you down, you can collect enemies weapons after killing them for multiple weapon types as well as ammo change, the ammo is limited and you fight only with your blade once you're out of ammo. There are collectibles scattered around in each zone and stage for you to collect and find, there is no upgrade or skills system. You have only 3 Hit points wherein if you die you reset from the last checkpoint. The controls were pretty solid and the gameplay was flawless, I didn't have any problems going through each stage. The levels designs were nice and fun to navigate through especially the long platforming sections filled with spikes and beams/lasers. OST and music both were fantastic to listen to while taking down the enemies shooting at you or platforming through. There are few bosses in the game but each was fun to tackle, not very challenging but each requires different strategies to beat, you will need to be quick on your feet and taking decisions immediately. It's a nice recommended 2D Action / Precision Platformer if you're a big fan of this genre and true hidden gem that's worth playing. Overall Rating 9/10
Gunborg: Dark Matters para mi gusto es un plataformero con esencia. Al puro estilo de MegaMan Zero pero mejorado, las mecánicas de salto, escudo y arma son deliciosas, y la atmósfera cyberpunk que transmite es muy buena y la verás reflejada en cada escenario que recorrerás. Una de las mecánicas que más me gusta es, que mientras sigas matando enemigos y evitando que te den, se irá cargando un multiplicador que este aumentará tu nivel de disparo al llegar al tercer nivel, solo que por un cierto periodo de tiempo. Es de esos juegos que son tan divertidos y adictivos que cuando lo juegas, quieres rushear durante todo el juego de una. El único problema para mi gusto es que hace falta más armas melee aparte de la tradicional, y tal ves una que otra arma más de disparo, sin embargo son gustos míos. 100% recomendado, para los amantes de Plataformeros y para los que empiezan en el género 9/10
Hi everyone ! I tested Gunborg : Dark Matters live on my Twitch Channel : Minouximus. I can say that : - Love the DA and the Music - The gameplay is great - Even if I am not a platformer kind of gamer, I always wanted to try to go farther and farther while playing - If you want to switch between keyboard and controller, you don't have to do anything else than playing Conclusion : This game really and the fun I had, really worth the price !

Está bueno el juego sólo si esperas poco de él. Yo creí que era un juego más variado y menos repetitivo, por estos motivos me decepcioné un poco.
Fast paced twin stick platformer similar to Neon Abyss or Katana Zero.
Título muy recomendable si te gustan los plataformas 2D de acción con complejidad de controles y una dificultad muy bien ajustada. Gunborg ofrece 12 misiones divididas en 4 pantallas cada una (15 si contamos las 3 desbloqueables) que puedes completar en 3-4 horas en dificultad normal, existiendo dificultad "experto" por encima que te pondrá las cosas mucho más complicadas. Su jugabilidad es muy agil, ya desde el inicio tenemos todas las mecánicas: ataque, escudo que permite bloquear y rebotar proyectiles enemigos y cuádruple salto (sí, puedes saltar 3 veces en el aire xD). Con estas mecánicas el juego propone un diseño de niveles muy cuidado en el que el objetivo será llegar al final de cada nivel superando las pruebas de plataformeo y a los enemigos que se nos pongan por delante. Cada enemigo que derrotemos soltará su arma, que podremos recoger y usar hasta que se le agoten las balas, teniendo un ataque a melee si no llevamos equipada ninguna arma. Me ha parecido una propuesta muy interesante, y una vez dominas los controles es un juego MUY divertido. También cuenta con 3 bosses muy bien diseñados y 37 coleccionables para los que quieran completarlo al 100%. Juego corto pero de alta calidad. Recomendado!
