รีวิว Gun Witch ในยุคที่พลังเวทย์จากแหล่งกลางเริ่มเสื่อมถอย จอมเวทย์ยุคใหม่จึงเริ่มใช้อาวุธที่ยิงระยะไกลได้เหมือนไม้เท้า และไม้เท้าที่ว่านั่นก็คือ "ปืน" พบกับนางเอกสาวที่เป็นมนุษย์ที่ใช้ปืนแทนไม้เท้า ได้เข้าเรียนโรงเรียนเวทย์และเข้าไปพัวพันกับปัญหาโรงเรียนของสองพี่น้อง ที่อีกที่สอนใช้พลังเวทย์ด้วยไม้เท้า (ระบบเก่า) และอีกที่สอนใช้ปืน (ระบบใหม่) นางเอกกับผองเพื่อนก็เลยต้องออกตามหาแหล่งพลังเวทย์ใหญ่เพื่อจบปัญหา ระบบเกมจะเป็นเกมลุยด่านกึ่งๆ Metroidvania ที่จะมีปืนใหม่ๆแรงๆให้ได้ใช้ ถ้าเลเวลตัวละครของเราถึงตามที่กำหนด ตัวเกมจริงๆไม่ยากเพราะศัตรูส่วนใหญ่จะดรอปยาเพิ่มเลือดให้เราตุนได้เป็นร้อยๆขวด เพราะฉะนั้นต่อให้บอสจะสู้ยากแค่ไหน ยังไงโอกาสชนะก็มีสูง ตัวเกมหลักๆจะเน้นไปที่การวิ่งวนตามสถานที่ต่างๆเพื่อไปรับเควสต์มาทำ ซึ่งเอาจริงๆก็คือเล่นตามเนื้อเรื่องนั่นแหละ ส่วนตัวผมเก็บเลเวลเพื่อให้ได้ปืนแรงสุดก่อน แล้วค่อยไปไล่ทำเควสต์ ซึ่งก็ถือเป็นการตัดสินใจที่ถูกต้อง ก็ถือว่าเล่นได้เพลินๆ นึกถึงซีรีส์ Cally's Cave ระบบคล้ายๆกัน แต่เกมนี้ความยาวจะสั้นกว่า

Gun: 9/10 Witch: 8/10 Gun Witch: 17/10 Short game with interesting characters and dialogues. Combat and control are surprisingly fun. This game feels very nostalgic and is worth a try if you have few hours to kill

Honestly the game is really fun, but the balance feels really off. I want to keep playing and finish the story, but I'm stuck at a boss battle because I keep getting one-shotted. Reading other reviews it looks like there was an update that accidently messed with RNG of boss attacks. And since this game is so small, I feel like I'm the only person who has experienced it. Dev, please fix. I want to finish the game 😿

Игра 'Gun Witch' - это динамичный и захватывающий экшен-платформер, который сочетает в себе элементы рогалика и адской беготни. Играть за ведьму с мощным оружием, пробивающуюся сквозь полчища врагов, безумно весело. Графика выполнена в приятном пиксельном стиле, а динамичная музыка отлично дополняет темп игры. Боевая система проста в освоении, но предоставляет достаточно глубины для экспериментов с различными видами оружия и способностями. Управление отзывчивое, позволяющее ловко уклоняться от атак и точно целиться. Разнообразие врагов и боссов радует, а прокачка персонажа и открытие новых способностей делают каждое прохождение уникальным. Несмотря на кажущуюся простоту, игра предлагает высокую сложность, что заставляет постоянно улучшать свои навыки и стратегию. 'Gun Witch' подойдет как любителям динамичных экшенов, так и фанатам рогаликов, ищущим новый вызов. Единственный минус, пожалуй, – некоторая однообразность локаций, но это компенсируется геймплеем. В целом, это отличная инди-игра, которая способна затянуть на долгие часы.

short little game with lots of charm in its artwork and story. Its not gonna blow anyone away but it doesn't need to. Only issue i had is that the last boss did a bit too much damage for my liking forcing me to grind an extra level just so i could tank a hit from an attack that seems to be borderline unavoidable. but that's more of a nit pick from me. Its free so if you got a few hours to spare it wont hurt to pick up.

An enjoyable little shoot ‘em up platformer with witty writing and a colourful presentation. With their slightly rough and uneven lines the sprites are rather adorable and the portraits are pretty good too. As a whole the visuals are charming and nice to look at. The music is nice to listen to as well and varies between stages. Each background track fits each stage quite well. Although the gameplay is a little rough around the edges with how chugging potions is an option for example it is fun with decent variety! The different types of attack function differently. I ended up mainly using the first and fourth, the second and third only coming into play in some specific situations. Also you can determine some of the challenge yourself in how you use the given tools, for example if you use the potions liberally or which attacks you pick primarily. A sizable part of the game is the story, which leans mostly into comedy. It’s got some common elements similar to others with a similar fantasy setting, but the ending is actually more uncommon and pretty interesting in a thought provoking manner rather than a comedic one. Having already played the newer game of the developer I can see how much they improved and how well made this first game already is. I suggest playing this one prior to the other to more directly see that improvement, but both games are fun on their own as well.
