Bu 2D aksiyon platform oyununda Beretta'nın şimdiye kadarki en iyi cadı olmasına yardım edin! Canavarları yenmek, sevimli NPC'lerle konuşmak ve Luninsula'nın karanlık tarihini keşfederken ömür boyu sürecek arkadaşlar edinmek için bir maceraya çıkıyor.
"Gun Witch" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. this is a platformer shooter with lightweight RPG elements and a lot of VN garbage to click through as fast as you can to avoid the utterly cringey writing. The story centers around Beretta, a witch who uses a gun instead of traditional magic, and her adventures on the island of Luninsula. The game only went anywhere because it had an anime girl theme. And I'm not here to give advice to amateur developers, but that's basically the only way you'll get anyone to do anything but click past your game rapidly... anime girls or cats. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. There's an overwhelming amount of mediocre Visual Novel/E-book style cutscenes in this game. The developers failed one of the most basic, fundamental requirements of game design.. "Show, don't tell." So you'll spend a huge amount of time not playing the game, but clicking through endless lines of poorly written VN text cutscenes because the developers couldn't work out how to relate their narrative through the game mechanics, and decided instead it would be better to compete with reading a book for your time. We're here to play games, not read through hours of garbage intersituals. Your gaming rig is not a Kindle. The graphics aren't great, really mediocre hand-drawn "Baby's First Wacom Tablet" kind of stuff. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. This game is fairly dated at 5 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. You're expected to pay up $3 USD to buy cosmetic DLC. Clearly the developer set out to profit from making this game and locking content, even cosmetics, behind DLC while still pretending the game is free is somewhat misleading to gamers. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. There's no financial cost up-front, but you'd still be spending your time and a little hard drive space on a product that's far from the best. There's thousands of better alternatives on Steam.
Before I played Gun Witch, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Very fun! love the sprites!

This was such a cute game!!! I loved how simple it was. I also really enjoyed the little "dungeons"
Honestly the game is really fun, but the balance feels really off. I want to keep playing and finish the story, but I'm stuck at a boss battle because I keep getting one-shotted. Reading other reviews it looks like there was an update that accidently messed with RNG of boss attacks. And since this game is so small, I feel like I'm the only person who has experienced it. Dev, please fix. I want to finish the game 😿
