Gun Rage

Pure atmosphere with a fast-and-loose play style, Gun Rage is proving to be a lot of fun so far. I haven't encountered any major design issues, and this game was obviously made with care and a specific vision in mind. I'm sure any possible issues will be addressed. Great art and soundtrack. An early thumbs-up from my quick dip into this tasty, violent, and gory syth-pocalypse.

Definitely has a huge Contra vibe to it, except you don't die in one hit, you look like the Fonz, and your dude has a little more pep to his step and jump. Also has a great synthwave soundtrack and is hilariously gory. The game isn't without issues -- the controls are a little loose and the difficulty ratchets up pretty fast after the first level. Not quite sure where the story is going yet but the dialogue has some typos. Overall we would recommend it!

A fairly good game, not fully worth the price but I can say that it is at least worth 5$. The only big minus is the huge difficulty spike after the first level. I don't mind games being really difficult infact I love them, but when a game isn't that easy to get used with the controls you can't just throw in hardcore levels from the start. There should be a bit of a learning curve not just for 10 to a 100.

The level design is loaded with blazing fast action and crazy set pieces all that end in some awesome boss fights. The controls are tight, the weapon variety is really solid, its got a rockin soundtrack, and the difficulty level is just the right amount of hard, I love this game and if you enjoy contra as much as I do, I think you will too

Gameplay is fun and I like the grotesque-looking enemies you encounter in the game. Unfortunately the developer obviously did not proofread any of the dialogue during development because it is riddled with poor vocabulary. If you can ignore that glaring issue and are into side-scrolling shooters you will enjoy this one.

El juego crashea cada dos por tres hasta con la actualizacion, el gameplay es tedioso y para nada satisfactorio con enemigos que caen del cielo random y un gunplay tosco y bastante pobre, no espereis un contra ni en una decima parte, muy repetitivo, aburrido y con crasheos que nos haran salir del juego cada 2 minutos, el precio carisimo, no lo recomiendo aunque veais el trailer bien armadito, hacedme caso.

Se você quer desligar o cérebro e só causar destruição por alguns minutos, Gun Rage é exatamente esse tipo de jogo. Gun Rage não tenta ser profundo — ele quer ser direto, rápido e caótico. É um shooter arcade sem muita enrolação: você entra, enfrenta ondas de inimigos, desvia de ataques e responde com bala pra todo lado. A progressão é simples, com upgrades básicos que ajudam a segurar o ritmo, mas sem grandes complexidades. E isso funciona… por um tempo. O jogo acerta no feeling inicial. É satisfatório limpar a tela, desviar no limite e sobreviver por pouco. Aquela sensação de “só mais uma tentativa” aparece fácil — principalmente se você curte jogos rápidos. Mas o problema vem rápido também. A repetição pesa. Falta variedade de inimigos, de situações e até de mecânicas. Depois de um tempo, tudo começa a parecer igual, e o jogo não faz muito esforço pra se reinventar. Não é um jogo que te prende por horas — é mais aquele tipo de experiência que você abre, joga um pouco e fecha. E tudo bem. Porque nem todo jogo precisa ser profundo pra ser divertido. Veredito: simples, funcional e passageiro.
