It was hard to get started and VERY frustrating when the "COUNTER" voice kept hitting me... but I promise it's satisfying when you start landing hits. I had to reapproach this game a couple times, coming from a Street Fighter background, and what helped me most was going to locals in my area's fighting game community, and meeting kind people who taught me the basics. It's way more fun to learn with people, findmyfgc.cc is a great site to find local tournaments. My thoughts, as someone who didn't "get" the combos or pressure at first: - These characters are indulgent and feel like they have every tool they'd ever want. - Basic combos are pretty universal between characters. - Close slash chains into Slash, and Slash always chains into Heavy Slash. - Bind Dash to its own button - Throws are FAST and very short range in this game. 2f throws! - A lot over overheads don't "read" as overheads, and some come out fast! - Dust is a versatile button: Down+Dust = Sweep, Nothing + Dust = Overhead, L or R + Dust = Throw HAVE FUN!!!!
