One of the worst and dumbest games ever designed, not to mention extremely greedy company that beats Korean F2P games. Devs lock behind powerful classes and QOL behind expansions to force you to pay while the game is already full of insane overpriced "convenience upgrades" that makes ESO and Korean games look normal. Absolute disaster of a game, only popular because of western cults formed around it
COOL COOOL
Excelente jogo, é um MMO que não te pune por ficar sem jogar, tem uma progressao muito boa tbm.. As expansoes adicionam muita coisa a gameplay e quem curtir, recomendo as expansoes tambem.
After spending a good amount of time in Guild Wars 2, I finally understand why so many people call it one of the most underrated MMORPGs ever made. Coming from World of Warcraft, the biggest adjustment wasn’t the combat or the classes—it was the philosophy of the game itself. GW2 doesn’t push you into an endless gear treadmill. Instead, it embraces horizontal progression, encouraging you to explore, experiment, and simply enjoy the world. It felt confusing at first, but once it clicked, I found it incredibly refreshing. What I loved * Extremely casual-friendly. Whether you have an hour after work or an entire weekend, the game respects your time. * A massive world spread across many expansions. At first it looks intimidating, but I actually like how each expansion feels like its own adventure. * Buy once, own it forever. No mandatory subscription constantly reminding you to “get your money’s worth.” * Questing feels natural. Dynamic events, exploration, and world interactions make the game feel alive instead of sending you from one NPC with an exclamation mark to the next. * Dialogue, quest stories and NPC interactions have much more personality than I expected from an MMO. * The community is genuinely welcoming. Veteran players often go out of their way to help newcomers. * Most importantly, this feels like a game made with passion. There are countless small details that show the developers cared about creating a world rather than just another live-service product. Things to keep in mind * If you’re coming from a traditional MMORPG like WoW, expect a learning curve. The game’s systems and progression work very differently, and it took me a while to understand what I should actually be doing. * Fourteen years of content is both a blessing and a challenge. As a new player, I often had to look up lore videos just to connect the story. It’s not really a flaw—it’s simply an enormous amount of content. My advice is to take it slow and enjoy one chapter at a time instead of trying to catch up all at once. Final thoughts Guild Wars 2 is a truly unique MMORPG that deserves far more attention than it gets. If you’re looking for a fantasy world where you can explore, relax, follow great stories, and progress entirely at your own pace without feeling pressured, I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
This game is freaking addicting. Especialy the dyes feature. I HAVE to have them ALL O.O
Guild Wars 2 is one of the best MMORPGs ever made. Its community is incredibly welcoming and always willing to help new players, making it easy to learn and enjoy the game from beginning. The World of Tyria is rich with memorable stories and deep lore that make every expansion DLC worth and meaningful. Whether you enjoy challenging raids, dungeons, fractals, competitive PvP, or the massive battles of World vs World, there's always something exciting to do. The movement system is one of the game's greatest strengths. From beautifully designed mounts including flying mounts to gliding across breathtaking landscapes, exploration feels rewarding and immersive. What truly sets Guild Wars 2 apart is its endgame. It's not just about chasing higher DPS or better gear. It's about crafting Legendary equipment, expressing your creativity through Fashion Wars, collecting achievements, exploring the world, and playing the content enjoy at your own pace.
To be honest, I wouldn't bother with this game. While the leveling is fine, it is certainly no better than World of Warcraft. The classes don't feel unique since they are all purely focused on dealing damage. Navigating the zones is incredibly frustrating; enemies are packed far too close together, there are too many of them, and they take way too long to kill. Questing essentially amounts to helping conveniently placed NPCs with time-consuming tasks, and that is what you will repeat every 10 levels until you reach level 80. Most of the time, these quests do a poor job of explaining what to do, leaving you expected to just figure it out on your own. The monetization somehow feels even greedier and more predatory than Blizzard's model with WoW. Sure, you can play the base game for free up to level 80, but the entire experience is designed to intentionally create inventory and convenience frustrations that practically force you into the cash shop. Transmogging your gear costs a specific resource that is incredibly tedious to acquire for free. Furthermore, basic quality-of-life necessities, such as material storage, bag slots, and unbreakable gathering tools, are locked behind microtransactions. It frequently feels like the game purposefully designs annoying systems just to sell you the solution, which feels highly manipulative for an MMO. On a positive note, the expansions are actually pretty well-written, feature a more classic quest design, and offer decent gameplay. Unfortunately, unlocking endgame elite specializations for your character isn't tied to a dedicated class questline. Instead, you just run around map-completing and collecting Hero Points, which is tedious, and the areas you have to navigate to get them are extremely annoying to deal with. Progression in the expansions is also deeply frustrating because of the Mastery system. Once you hit level 80, your normal leveling stops, and you are forced to grind Mastery points and experience to unlock basic navigation abilities, like gliding or bouncing mushrooms, just to get around the maps. The game does a terrible job of explaining how this system works, how to effectively gain experience for it, or where to find the points you need, leaving you feeling completely stuck and lost. Obtaining mounts is also a major, time-consuming chore. People often claim this game respects your time more than World of Warcraft, but I wouldn't say it does that at all. The endgame is also exceptionally boring. Dungeons are overly complicated, Fractals are simply not worth your time, and I haven't touched PvP, so I cannot comment on it. I get why people start playing this game, it does look really cool, but honestly I couldn't give you a single good reason to try it.
