Guild Wars 2 is one of the best MMORPGs ever made. Its community is incredibly welcoming and always willing to help new players, making it easy to learn and enjoy the game from beginning. The World of Tyria is rich with memorable stories and deep lore that make every expansion DLC worth and meaningful. Whether you enjoy challenging raids, dungeons, fractals, competitive PvP, or the massive battles of World vs World, there's always something exciting to do. The movement system is one of the game's greatest strengths. From beautifully designed mounts including flying mounts to gliding across breathtaking landscapes, exploration feels rewarding and immersive. What truly sets Guild Wars 2 apart is its endgame. It's not just about chasing higher DPS or better gear. It's about crafting Legendary equipment, expressing your creativity through Fashion Wars, collecting achievements, exploring the world, and playing the content enjoy at your own pace.

This game may be one of the greatest MMORPG out there. Despite the amount of hours I have for review time, I truly believe this is a great game to start off if you're willing to try the MMORPG genre. There's no subscription required to continue playing this game (that I know of). It's a decent grind to get to level 80, there'll be parts where you'll get stuck on for a little bit but it's rather simple to brush them off. The party system is really well done, I like how it's not required for one party member to join another because they entered an instance. Which means they can both focus on grinding their own quests without interrupting each other. Typically, parties force another to join in the quest which I feel like is pointless because the forced party member doesn't gain anything from helping the quest receiver. Most importantly to the subscription part, I like how you don't need the expansion pack for this game. However, if you do make it to level 80 and you truly like this game a lot, I'd recommend getting the Heart of Thorns and Heart of Fire since it's two in one DLC only for $30. It may seem overpriced but at least it's permanent, so no complaints on that. Something I must add on is the community, they have really good sportsmanship and they're really supportive. Do not be afraid to ask for help in this game because they will definitely cooperate to help you out no matter what. Now let's say you were engaged in a boss raid with the entire server (exaggeration), exhausted? Ask for help. Stamina low? Save your dashes and charge attacks. Health too low? Run to the nearest healer and you'll be up to no time. Notice how I haven't said anything about anyone fighting each other? This game is more so about alliances and cooperation than revenge and vengeance. The game is truly fun to me and I cannot wait to see what Guild Wars 3 have to offer. Try this game if you haven't already, especially with a friend. Definitely get yourself a grinding partner to play with because not only would it make the game feel much faster, but it'll also make the game feel a lot more fun too. One of the worst and dumbest games ever designed, not to mention extremely greedy company that beats Korean F2P games. Devs lock behind powerful classes and QOL behind expansions to force you to pay while the game is already full of insane overpriced "convenience upgrades" that makes ESO and Korean games look normal. Absolute disaster of a game, only popular because of western cults formed around it
