Bad and very short and cheaply made amateur FMV QTE Horror Slasher game.
Thankfully, it just costs 2$ originally.
It only lasts like 15 Minutes from start to finish, if you fail at a QTE (most are easy, all in all there are like 9 or so, at least that's the number of Death Scenes in the Extra Menu's death gallery, of which only 8 work, number 8 doesn't and freezes the game which you will have to restart due to missing back button or ESC Menu, the only other item in the Extra Menu being the short credits, which you can fast-forward trough), maybe 30 Minutes max.
It's bug riddled. The intro takes like 4–5 minutes until the interactive movie part starts, nerve-wracking if you get the bug where you will have to start from the very beginning every single time even when clicking continue. The 2 only Achievements are also buggy (but in a good way, like getting the unlock all death scenes long before unlocking all death scenes and the full play trough 'without die' even though you did die), but they don't count anyhow, since the game is Profile Features limited, due to it probably only having like 10 buyers or something.
The English is bad, but somehow the only language, also no settings whatsoever exist, which brings us to the next flaw that the audio volume is too low (the few times when people do speak, the chainsaw sound is ok). There's only 3 characters depicted, a Sheriff who is called to the scene of person #2, an abductee, by a stranger's phone call and then hunted there by some serial killer cannibal with a chainsaw.
You have to try to survive via QTE which are mostly just 1 button, but in 2 instances like 5 of them and in the most frustrating scene you have to smash one button like crazy, I never passed it by myself, at least it lets you pass automatically without QTE if it's not bugged if you fail it 2–3 times. Normally, you also get to start right from your last death, which isn't too frustrating.
2-3 of the FMV scenes are missing the Special Effects like fake Blood squashing out of a wound or a VCR filter.
The Menu at the very start and after the game is a VHS tape in a VCR, which is actually quite nice, maybe the most decently done thing in this game.
The very first QTE will always have to be completed, after that sometimes all of them or sometimes only the ones you haven't done yet and didn't fail too often.
At the end, the caller hints at there being more future sequels coming to this trashy gore FMV, boy I hope not, but if for whatever reason you did like it and feel you got your money's worth out of those 2$ you spent, then even though this Developer only has 1 other seemingly non FMV "horror" game planned for release in 2025, the Published "Necronomicon Games" appears to have another short FMV QTE horror game apparently just like this one, which they developed themselves, called "My Bloody Weekend 2", also going for 2$, knock yourself out buddy, just don't get shred to pieces by a chainsaw wielding cannibal.
And P.S. if Steam had neutral ratings I would have chosen that, since it only costs 2$, but since there's only positive & negative ratings and Steam's ratings are already heavily skewed towards a positive bias, I will give it a thumbs down, since I can't really recommend playing it.
