The true meaning of the word fear... Once upon a time, fairy tales were valuable cautionary yarns filled with dire warnings and sage advice. However, over time, the stories have become so watered down with cute woodland creatures and happy endings that they have lost their true meaning and purpose. No more!

Grimm is honestly one of those weird little games that shouldn’t work as well as it does… but somehow it kinda does. The whole vibe is super unique — you’re basically this gross, chaotic little gremlin running around classic fairy tales and turning them into straight-up nightmare fuel. Like, imagine Disney worlds getting dragged through a Tim Burton fever dream. That contrast between cute and completely messed up is where most of the fun comes from. Gameplay-wise, it’s super simple. You just run around and corrupt everything, no real challenge, no pressure, no fail state. It’s chill… maybe a bit too chill. Don’t expect anything deep or skill-based — this is more like a “turn your brain off and vibe” kind of game. Some people will get bored fast, not gonna lie. But the writing and voice acting? That’s where it really shines. Grimm as a character carries the whole experience. The dark humor, sarcasm, and overall unhinged energy actually make you want to keep going just to see how each story gets twisted. The biggest downside is repetition. After a few episodes, you’ve basically seen everything the game has to offer. Same mechanics, same loop — just different fairy tales. It’s way better in short sessions than grinding through it. Overall, Grimm feels less like a full game and more like an interactive dark comedy series. If you’re into twisted humor, weird concepts, and don’t mind super simple gameplay — you’ll probably have a good time. If you’re looking for challenge or depth… yeah, this ain’t it.
