Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
YOU CANNOT ESCAPE THE GRID.
…or can you? Grid Ranger is an arcade style shoot-em-up with laser sharp aesthetics and a retro-futuristic soundtrack. Practice your mouse dexterity as you blow through obstacles and dodge projectiles in a game reminiscent of the arcade.
Trade your Blows
Use your projectiles to target objects in your path, creating new ways to move through the grid.
Linear Targeting: Use the grid against them by firing along it. Line up your character to take aim at enemies.
Dodge and Weave: Avoid obstacles that might end your run while targeting the opponents in front of you.
Power Up your Escape.
Dodge and weave between enemies to pick up extra lives in preparation for the boss at the end of each level.
Destroy your Enemies: explode different targets and collect the glittering diamonds they leave behind.
Extra Chances: Salvage a run by grabbing extra lives from destroyed enemies.
Be Prepared: Each level ends with a unique boss and attack sets. Do your best to grab new powerups and gain an edge on each level.
Advance Beyond the Grid
Play across three levels and an infinite mode in a difficulty of your choosing, all while immersed in the arcade game atmosphere. Featuring 8 original tracks and precise retro graphics, this is a nostalgia hit you won’t want to miss. Do you have what it takes to escape the grid?

i picked this game up on a whim, partly because of the price tag, partly because i like their previous game (utopia must fall). i don't think it's bad, but i do think it is a bit unremarkable. it doesn't really do anything to stand out other than go for a retro aesthetic - by that i mean, no particular interesting mechanic other than trying to score. the simplicity is both good (expectations are set, and it lets you grind it) and bad (no particular display of skill require other than the will to play it) i do think it's at least worth considering to play, especially since as of the time of writing it is still in early access, so things could change greatly.

An excellent arcade style shooter that has the player travelling into the screen at a fast pace and shooting enemies / avoiding obstacles. The design evokes the feeling of 1980's nostalgia with wire-frame style graphics and bright neon colours throughout. Of course, 1980's games never actually looked this good, but it captures the feeling of that time and style. The music is excellent - again, evoking the memory of the 1980's with the synth soundtrack, but it has a more modern production style. Gameplay is fast-paced and will require you to have pretty fast reactions. I found it very difficult, but that could just be my reaction speed not being what is was when I was playing in arcades in the 80's. Although difficult, the game does hook you for just one more go - it is very addictive. Overall, highly recommended and great for short rounds of gaming in between other tasks!
Grid Ranger is a tough-as-nails, high-speed, obstacle-dodging racing/shooting game with some sweet vector graphics and fitting retro music. You'll die, a lot, but beating a level is really satisfying. If you're a masochistic games, odds are good you'll enjoy Grid Ranger. There's a boss fight at the end of each level. It's bloody hard - I've beaten the 2nd level (a feat only ~3.6% have achieved, apparently!), and I'm still trying to beat the game. If you liked 'Utopia Must Fall' you will defiantly like this game. Still presents a little bare bones but the game play and satisfyingness is already there in bucket loads. Great music, graphics and sound effects. Cool, fast and addictive.
Intense, love the vector graphics and fast gameplay
