This game looks allot like Alien Hominid. Super cool. I will say, the gameplay takes a bit of deciphering. I did eventually figure out what was going on. I must say, I don't think I've ever played anything like this in my life. Honestly. This game is quite innovative. I think swapping between guns based on enemy trajectory and while warding off meteor showers adds a distinct level of gameplay depth. Dodging projectiles and revolving hazards provides a unique platforming experience. Even the gravity aspect is fresh and new, creating a niche exploration experience. The game is quite fun already and I barely know what I'm doing. In addition, I really think the music is a vibe. This is a chill game that will test your reflexes.

A fun experience! In what visually feels like a homage to alien hominid and other awesome games from the newgrounds era, Gravity's Edge utilizes Mario Galaxy style platforming (in 2D) along with shooting to create a cool world. Love the Jamaican dialogue, too! The Steam Deck controls feel a bit weird/I wish I could remap things, but that's something that can come at some point down the line. All in all, if you're reading this, give it a try!

This game randomly showed up in my social feed during development, and I immediately became interested when I saw that the game would be a chance for me to learn about a new culture. I sincerely feel like this kind of work is more important now than ever, as I know from personal experience that learning about people different from yourself can lead to the labels falling away and allow you to view people as a human being first. Also, the trailer made me instantly think of the game Dandara based on how the character was moving around, and that can only be a good thing. This game is priced very affordable, and I hope it gets the attention it deserves because this is a developer I'd be interested in keeping an eye on. Anyone who can create an experience that feels fresh and unique while also having the potential to improve the world is someone worth supporting. I genuinely hope the people that need to see this game do, and give it a shot. [I will update review after completion and once I write a more comprehensive review of the game itself rather than the concept.]

Walking around tiny gravity-bound worlds, hopping between planets, and finding the weird little secrets tucked into each one is what makes Gravity's Edge standout! The exploration is what really got me, every world has something hidden, and the hand-drawn art give it a personality you don't see often.

I've just started, but I can already tell this game has a great world to dive into! The traversal from moon to moon feels great and there's enough challenges to encounter to keep things fresh. Loving the culture and vibe, I can't wait to explore more.

The game is amazing. There's so much to explore, with planets and zones having special environmental properties. I also like the fact that for some of the puzzles you do to get hidden treasures, you have to figure it out on your own which makes it extra satisfying when you succeed.

This is super unique game, and very easy to catch onto and play. You def should give it a download

Never player a space game like this! Very cool stuff.

At first you wonder is happening but once you jive with the gameplay and mechanics then it becomes a blast to play, especially the survival mode! Overall id say give it a shot!
