Great fun. It's basically a Quake/Unreal Tournament-esque game with grappling hooks. You might be deceived seeing that the game only has a single digit number of players at any given time at best, but it seems like the game is cross-platform with Quest, so you are likely to bump into some other players even if the Steam player count is close to 0.
You get to swing around like Spiderman while raining down freedom upon your foes. All while in VR. 10/10, try it, its free.
...looks interesting. However, I can't recommend it after spending almost an hour trying to add a friend to a multiplayer session. Connection fails (without explanation), servers cannot be joined, friends cannot be added. Too bad.

Closest thing to Quake III Arena in VR other than Quake III Arena in VR!
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There are no available servers and no player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This was an ill-conceived PvP arena shooter for VR users only and with grappling hook mechanics and cartoony cel shaded models. The developers failed to understand that PvP games need a critical mass of players, and chose to make the game VR exclusive, knowing that only a tiny handful of gamers bother with VR (it's been around since the 1990's and still hasn't caught on). By making a game for only a few people, and requiring a huge number of people to be successful, these guys shot themselves in the foot so aggressively they had to reload twice. So, "Grapple Tournament" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the Game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. On the important subject of visuals, this features fairly low quality stylised/cartoony low poly 3D graphics. It comes across as the kind of thing you see on mobile phones and Nintendo games, which will deter a lot of PC gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and to be considered one of the best games on Steam, the graphics have to be some of the best on Steam. That's not happening here. The controls were janky, the servers and netcode a train wreck... and lagging in VR is a nightmarish experience. There's little to nothing that was done well in this game, but like I mentioned, the developers set themselves up to fail from the outset. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. On the important matter of pricing and value for gamers, there's a lot going on here with monetisation, so this really shouldn't be considered a truly free product because of that. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $25 USD for this. Don't laugh, keep a straight face, they thought this was worth TWENTY FIVE UINITED STATES DOLLARS. For an empty PvP game with no content! Furthermore, the developer has their hand out for a $5 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to give them money for soundtrack DLC (that's already in the game) from Steam to "support" the "developer"... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. In terms of public reception, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? I think it's best to skip this download. While it won't necessarily cost you money, the time and hard drive space it requires could be better invested in one of the many higher-quality alternatives on Steam.

It's everything I want from a VR arena shooter, fun movement, cool guns and mechanics that make use of VR, it has crossplay with quest so you can still find games.
