Grape Jelly

The game is adorable. Cheerful music backs a cute, four-legged jelly cube for a main character, who would make for an excellent plush toy. The game is redundant and simple, free of all the stress and purpose of life away from your computer screen, or in another video game that has a plot and dynamic companions who need certain answers for you to solve their deep, well-scripted traumatic histories. Grape Jelly is nothing but pure cuddly goodness in a simple, easy-to-play one-button video game. You get to double jump, restore your lost lives and slow the pace of time so as to make the game even easier than its naturally easy format. It's also commonly on sale.

Grape Jelly is a very low effort endless runner with just one button (jump). You can double jump which is necessary for some platforms. There's pickups that speed you up and slow you down but they seem poorly thought out. Resolution is fixed and the aspect ratio feels more narrow than 4:3 but there's no way to fix it (despite this being released in 2017). Presumably that's a hangover from being ported from mobile or something, but this game is so bad it's not worth finding out.

Personally, I love the game and use it to wind down. That being said, it is a pretty boring game from the outside. It is an endless runner, like you would play on your phone for 5 minutes then delete. This game is one of my relaxing time wasters. I got it in a bundle of 12 games, so for me it was worth it. You can make your own call.

its a very cute Runner type of game, while most of those types of game are really hard this one is cute and on the easier side. i think its a lot of casaul fun Note: id like if trading cards would be added i collect them and the protagonist is just adorable. also like one suggested in the community hub that it would be nice if different charachter skins like apple jelly,pudding and more would be added and unlocked for getting certain highscores

Fun game, absolutely stunning soundtrack. You get what you pay for but overall a very solid game
