Found out a little after starting the game that this Definitive Edition is a majorly buggy piece of ♥♥♥♥ that was ported from the mobile edition and runs terrible, has messed up controls and some missions feel borderline unplayable. I insisted on it due to sunken costs fallacy over the time i spent playing before, but from the moment you get involved with anything flight related, you're done. Can't continue this crap and won't, rather start up from the scratch on the real GTA SA.
Le hicieron un juego al loquendo xddddddd
♥♥♥♥ you rockstar. ♥♥♥♥ you for removing the original games. ♥♥♥♥ you for leaving this piece of ♥♥♥♥, unoptimized, ugly, abortion looking game, which is only held together by the rope tied around it's neck since it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ killed itself from how ugly and disgusting it was. If the only sin this piece of ♥♥♥♥ committed was being ugly, at least I could try to ignore it, but it doesn't even do you the disservice of working properly. After 10 hours of playing my save file got corrupted and now the game crashes every time i try to progress. Piece of ♥♥♥♥ game, piece of ♥♥♥♥ company, horrible port. DONT BUY
This "definitive edition" is worse than the original game, and Rockstar delisted the original version from Steam because of pure greed.
♥♥♥♥ game, ♥♥♥♥ devs , roctars ♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥ them all
absolutely unplayable and should not even be sold, period. the amount of times ALL of my saves got corrupted made progressing absolutely next to impossible. I wish i was joking when i say unless you keep multitudes (2+) of duplicate backup copies of your saves, and save after every mission, event, or interaction, you might be able to do a few missions before having to restart the game and praying your saves still work. truly disheartening as their most popular classic title since gta3 and vice city played mostly without issues. I genuinely cannot comprehend how this is a real product being sold as this is literally their most popular classic title and it is genuinely unplayable without pulling your hair out. just pirate the original version, or SAM the achievements for this, it's genuinely not worth the complete slog i went thru just for some achievements. :(
Not worth the price even at 67% off for this pack of 3. The missions are easier. It's a dumbed down game, when it's meant to be an upgrade. The memories are good, but if you own the originals, you don't need this R* store infested rubbish. The falling off your BMX mechanic animation is awful. CJ is also so buff he can run into cars with 3 people inside and he poeses that vehicle in whatever direction you're running. It's pathetic for a 'definitive edition' - The colour of the sky was puke-like. There are also achievements in the R* Store that are not on steam, hence, this is just not meant to be enjoyed by Steam™ gamers. The positives were in performance, for an Unreal engine conversion, and everything graphics wise maxed out, the RTX3070ti didn't pass 35 degrees celsius, with the CPU sitting in the low to mid 40's. The best thing you can do to prove you love Rockstar is play the originals, play everything up until GTA V - upgraded, and forget GTA VI till it finally releases on PC. At least we can spectate their release test on the console-peasants again. That price alone was Take2 robbing 'FOMO gamers'
So far each Game from the Definitive Edition Trilogy all play very poorly with alot of stuttering, I still own my original PS2 With each of these games and the run WAAAAAYYY better on the PS2. This feels a mobile game compared to the original.
Still fun, Just dont pay for it.
