Another Early Access Game abandoned and yet, Steam still allows this bs to happen. Would love for all of these abandoned games to be forced to give the money back. I am close to $1,000 worth of abandoned Early Access titles in my library right now.
Bout 2 years ago, when this still had steam(no pun int) I played pretty hardcore for a good lil bit. Back then, game was very fun if you're into osrs style games. Only issue was a group of toxic maxed out players that made gaming as a newbie awful. If I wasn't a solo-player type, would've been uninstalled after bout 10 hours. Nothing was done about it, lots of newbies were turned off. Checking back now, "3 players online right now" + "4 players 24-hr peak" + "109 players max peak 2 years ago" = Dead MMO.

I am no where near completing this game, but after 28 hours and constantly still enjoying this game, i should review it. when you first start, you may feel lost or unable to seek for something to "go for" maybe either at the start or while you're trying to level up a certain skill to make a certain armour/weapon. The grind is real just like Runescape but the gameplay is more forgiving IMO. I am an absolute fan of Runescape, but after spending more than 14k hours on oldschool and rs3, it just feels dull and rotten. It may be just me, but i always wanted to try to look for another MMO thats alot like runescape, aka "skill based MMO's" if i could choose one game that has to come close to how runescape was its this game. the main thing thats accurate about this being like runescape is the fact that theres abunch of skills to level up and grind that affects your play style. What i love most about this game is the friends that I have met along the way. That's what mattered on runescape, and I love how it matters on here aswell. Kind and gentle community that go out there to speak to you and ask if you want to battle something that you have no idea what the hell they're talking about but you come along anyway (even if you may feel like he's tricking you or luring you like some RS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) But said ♥♥♥♥ it and went along with him. i met a select few of people that were good at the game and kindly let me join in on the boss slay even though i was only level 13 but it helped me level up ♥♥♥♥ alot and give me insight on how the game is along with the players that are already inhabiting the world of Gran Skrea. I already love this game and its still not completed. I've never had high expectations but for someone thats looking for a runescape type fix, this game fixed it immediately. grindy ass levels, needing to level up random skills to quest and craft armour/weapons/etc. the quests are funny and entertaining as well. I also bought this game on sale for $3 and oh man... for a big ass game with 137 potential steam achievements to unlock on a grindy game.. I knew I was going to have fun. This game so far solo was an alright experience. It's better when you meet that one friend you click with that is also a noob like you are to help each other and compete with each other to get ♥♥♥♥ while also helping each other... lol. If anyone wants to team up with me or join my guild(clan) my in game username is also Transform. I hope to see you there and i wish the best for the future of this great game. P.S. no monthly subscriptions
A fun excursion from reality with flavors of Runescape and Ultima Online crafted in. You'll find yourself spending hours at a time exploring pleasant looking lands with fierce beasts you can't beat yet. Then, more hours will be spent grinding out the materials and skills to make a set of gear to get you a wee bit farther. Maybe you'll find friends to help you along the way or make many enemies finding your own stubborn way. The combat system is quite engaging and feels very responsive. From the magic side of things I can say that combat is more fun than in games like Elder Scrolls Online, while maintaining the same level of mobility and that exciting pace. It was apparently built from the ground up and is worth mentioning. If you find yourself without an MMO and favor that old grind in a new way then Gran Skrea Online may be a sanctuary for you too.
Seen this game around for a while now, finally bit the bullet and purchased. As much as I want to like the game, I just Can't. I praise it for good storytelling and writing however Fighting is basic and Quests are unbalanced. Dev's haven't gotten better servers and haven't fixed bugs. Even terrain is lack-luster and barely loads in, even on Ultra. Until they fix the game, I cannot recommend. A great shame.
i have played runescape for over 18 years. RS has turned in to a self center game. really don't mater what you can make. no one wants it. auto grind the xp unlike the old click everything RS days. This game so far is like Runescape Classic with 10x batter Gfx than that java client. skills need to be much higher tho with a hard grind to make them more needed as trade to others. being a high lvl smith should have value to others than all being that same high lvl smith. ALL and all good game. Its not runescape. But i see the love of runescape in this game.
