About
Legends of Aria Eternal is a living sandbox MMORPG where every player’s actions shape the world. Built on the powerful Shards Engine, every creature, object, and city is part of a persistent simulation that responds to your choices. The danger is real, the loot is full, and the story is yours to write.
Forge alliances, wage wars, build thriving towns, or carve out a solitary life on the fringes. Every skill improves through use, with over 30 unique abilities across multiple disciplines, and no levels or classes locking you in. Become a renowned beast tamer, a feared assassin, a master artisan, or a traveling bard whose music can turn the tide of battle.
Step into Celador, a vast open world of deserts, forests, plains, frozen peaks, and ancient ruins, all connected and all persistent. Danger and opportunity lie around every corner: from legendary dragons and ancient gods to rival players with their own agendas.
Whether you swear loyalty to a city militia, join a player-run guild, or roam as a lawless outlaw, your reputation will follow you for better or worse.

Full-loot PvP means victories are sweet and losses sting. Track down criminals and claim bounties through the game’s Skill Loss justice system, or risk becoming the hunted yourself. In Celador, every fight has consequences.

Claim land and make it yours, from a humble cabin to a sprawling estate. Craft unique gear, run a shop, or decorate your home with treasures found in dungeons, on the battlefield, or in the pockets of unwary travelers.

Nearly every piece of gear, weapon, and tool in Legends of Aria Eternal is crafted by players. Gather rare resources, refine them into materials, and shape them into powerful items that fuel the economy. What you make, sell, or trade directly affects the strength and wealth of the world around you.

There is no main quest telling you where to go or what to be. Every profession, alliance, and rival is born from player choice, and every shard of the world can be reshaped by its community.

Legends of Aria Eternal is more than a relaunch — it’s the most player-friendly, moddable, and content-rich version of LoA ever released.

this is the third or fourth rerelease of this game, one of which includes a crypto currency rugpull version of LoA. your time would be better spent doing pretty much anything else. i backed this game on kickstarter when it was still Shards and played extensively through the first LoA where they decided to sunset the game, please believe me when i tell you to stay very, very far away from anything this company puts out. pretty cool they gave this version and all of the previous out to those who purchased it before though
I've played thousands of hours of this game in its previous iterations on a community server called Novus Redux. (would love for that to come back) The game went through a bit of an odd time but it's back with the original dev. It now has the option to run your own server as well, which I will be looking at down the road. Because I own this game from previous versions, I was provided a key for the new version. Something the dev did not have to do but that is definitely appreciated. Part combat game, part sort of cozy game (who doesn't want a house for storage and that they can decorate?). It has crafting, material gathering and fishing but if I just want to go and kill stuff, I can. If I want to go and mine or chop down trees because I want to do something more relaxing, I can. I really enjoy the wide variety of things I can choose to do. This morning, after I do some mining, I think I'd like to go work on my animal taming so I can start collecting hides. I might craft with them and bring some of my skills up or sell them to other players. The great thing is I have the choice. The main server is in beta right now so expect some random disconnects (only happened to me once in 4ish hours of play so far) and glitches once in awhile. There is a Discord channel which is active and very helpful. All of that aside, this IS one of my favourite games of all time that really scratches that UO itch. IYKYK

Was one of my favourite games before it went away. Has the ability to create some pretty awesome moments when played with others.
Played a long time ago and enjoyed it, now it is back again! Get to have my UO fix but in a more modern sense which is much welcomed.
Warning this is not even at the Early Access stage. This is a rough alpha at best. If you are going to be hosting your own server. Dedicated Server are complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess. Stay away from this one if you want to host your own server for friends to play on with you. There is zero documentation at the time I setup my dedicated server. The "official discord" has a staff of one. So forget about getting any help there. They had a setting that made any changes to the server get reset next time you loaded it. Server Settings are another thing that is just a really mess. It can only be changed with a God character (the equivalent of an admin account) and the whole interface for this should be in the games settings now some slash command. I've bugged out when trying to zone. Super glad I got this key for buying it back when it was a Kickstarter. This is a sh*t show. Again for Dedicated Servers.
played on the first release i think? when i was like "i've got an Ultima Online itch" but mostly played on player ran servers. glad to see it come back again
Well, had expectations for this, but right now i have to say NO... Dedicated server's are a pain to setup and u need 2 copies of the game... refunded...
The new team is doing everything right so far. Keep up the great work. Players will come. For those that have Legends of Aria in their Steam Library already you can obtain this for free: https://api.legendsofaria.com/claim I look forward to playing with you all.
Great game, whether it maintains a positive review depends on whether they can offer stable servers.
