Game appears to be officially dead : (. Devs aren't really online or in chat anymore. The players online keeps going down and down. No additional patches. Bugs since day 1 aren't being fixed.
I booted up the game, watched the tutorial that you literally cannot interact with, its basically a cutscene, spent 5 minutes finding out how to look at the cards you can purchase (p2w ftw) and there is a card that costs $120 usd in premium currency. I uninstalled the game.
Game is absolutely broken by a ridiculous pay-wall. Even sinking in AAA worthy money won't get you far and the play rewards are a joke. The gameplay on the far side the pay-wall could possibly be interesting, but on the near side it lacks complexity and depth. In general the game lacks anything resembling polish - so rough that early access can't be used as an excuse. It can't even pretend to compete with the likes of Duelyst, Shardbound or Hand of the Gods. Don't waste your time, never mind your money.

I've been playing the game for a while and in a short time you see multiple failures, you also notice the absence of players and the devs do not seem to update or support it.

Duelyst is a better version of this game , but if they refine the game , add more cards and balance it properly it could be a good game Having to chose 3 classes is fine , but there aren't cards for just the class And making the game based around action points is interesting but minions need more action points otherwise the game can become a long wait until one or both side have all their minions to start moving around A PvE mode would be nice to get some gold and a feel for the game , played a few games and was against people who had much more than standard card
I actually quite like this. It has an interesting system where you have 3 separate decks, each of which you choose the cards for, and you know in advance the order you will be playing the decks in, playing deck 2 when deck one runs out, and then deck 3 when deck 2 runs out. This reduces the randomness of which cards you draw, and enables more forward planning in designing your deck. It also reduces the power of 'weenie' decks, and enables players to put big, expensive, powerful cards in their deck that would normally be un-usable in other CCG's. It's a very clever solution to an old problem in CCG's, simple yet effective. The card art is nice and so are the battlefield sprites. The games balance seems to favour aggressive play, which I thoroughly approve of, as it keeps games short, stops them from dragging on, and they usually are conveniently quick matches. You can browse the menus and build decks while waiting for a match, which is a nice feature, and something other games, for some unknown reason, do not allow. There are a few waifus among the cards you can play, which I approve of. There are currently 3 generals you can pick to lead your card army. None of them are female, and I think it would be nice if there was at least the option of choosing a waifu to lead your troops into battle, a sultry sorceress perhaps? Or a mighty valkyrie, complete with chainmail bikini? This would please me greatly. It does take a long time to grind new cards. This actually makes sense. This is still a new game, still in development, and there currently are not that many cards, so hopefully the game will lower the time cost for grinding new cards as more are added. It occurs to me that something they could do to help monetise the game is offer sexy skins for both cards and generals, just like in most MOBAs. I would be tempted by such.
I enjoyed this game. It has a style I've been looking for. But frankly it's dead, and I've reached a point where the game doesn't let me use my own deck. It gives me a random hand. That is the end of the rope for me.
