Perfect game to send to any neglectful grandchildren you may have.

Read the other reviews and you will see the praising of the graphics, the story, the simplicity that brings up so much complex feelings. Be careful with this one. It will hit hard if you've ever lost anyone, particularly an elder you have been "too busy" for. But if you can face it - it will be beautiful in a bittersweet way, and if you have someone waiting on you it will remind you exactly of how precious time can be. And like the other reviews, I have a story. My grandmother started to decline during covid. We weren't able to see her as much as we wanted. Then when we were - the day I was supposed to go see her, I told her I'd see her the next day and stayed home to play video games. She had a stroke that night and that next day I spent sitting with her at the hospital where she strained through her failing body to tell me she was ready to die. I missed my last chance. I left her lonely and disappointed on her last day. So this one resonated in so many different ways, and i was sobbing by the second cycle of the day. But don't we all need permission to do that sometimes? This is worth it, and I can't believe how well it's done.

I just [u]had[/u] to look up if Crywank was a real band and not some unfortunately-translated foreign word. Now, after seeing their discography, any sentiment for this game is ruined. But, I don't have the heart to ding a game with only 22 reviews - all of which are positive. And I think the dev did put some love into this. So, here's your thumbs-up, even though I need brain bleach for Crywank. It's a beautiful and heartbreaking game about an elderly grandmother waiting for her family to visit. I felt her loneliness.
