Godsbane Idle is a fresh idle take on games such as path of exile. It combines the hunt for powerful loot with idle systems to guarantee your progress even if time is short that day. It tries to stray away from linear paths and offers multiple ways to customize your equipment, skills and even more.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

This game is deader than my hopes and dreams but, what is there is at least interesting enough to provide entertainment for a couple months. It's a pity because they could have actually done some fun things with it if they kept going with it. But lots of the systems aren't clearly defined and the stats aren't explained well. Not to mention several things just "aren't implimented" at all.

I really wish I could've recommended game since the idea behind it was wonderful. This game can be easily thought in an MBA course to be an example to "How to mess up such a brilliant idea with execution?"
Half-baked and abandoned.
This is truly, without a doubt, an idle game you should stay away from. To put it simply, you will feel like all you do is idle; the progression is akin to watching a security cam footage of a still image. You will exponentially hit a wall every step you take, wondering what you're doing wrong, when that's just the natural feel the dev intended. I literally only have this game up with 5 other idle games, just to counteract how painfully slow Godsbane is. So, getting to brass tax, here's everything it tries to sell you on, their shortcomings, why they're either flat out lies, or true only in technicality and not an honest sense, or things that really don't matter. "An expansive skill tree!" Yeah, sure it is. You can experiment all you want, but unless you're willing to sacrifice bank slots for all the different equipment you'll need to reasonably assess different builds, and constantly reevaluate every potential upgrade, which is painfully monotonous, it's more simple to stick to something. I gave up switching around because I was tired of feeling like I went nowhere with every other decision I made, and of course just checking the wiki for the optimal build is the same as giving up. But no matter what, the stall of points to put in for the skills just sucks so much. Like many of the other features in this game, it's very quick at first, fires all those wonderful dopamine receptors, and then you struggle to get any further on a monthly basis. "Grind for powerful gear!" You mean... filter everything besides the highest tier of equipment because the rate your bags fill up will cause you to go insane? Seriously, you have to stock up on different gear for each build if you want to experiment, plus deal with the huge influx of equipment coming in unless you're only getting the top (red) tier, and all the heartcore items that drop... you do not have the inventory slots... unless you spend all your points in many different shops AND the real money one (yes you can get enough via in game playing, but it took MONTHS to get that while also getting the other important ones). The equipment system just makes zero sense. This seems like the dev didn't care about all the horrible downsides of their decision, and pass the issues onto us the players to deal with. "Challenge mighty foes" IT'S. AN. IDLE. GAME. I do not feel any challenge at hitting a button and being able to watch bars go down. The enjoyment is knowing that I pushed forward with my own decision making to achieve things. With idle games, that comes down from understanding the growth and progression mechanics, and making correct decisions on what to improve or not to. This should have been a massive red flag to me before I started this game... and it bit hard. This is such a stupid selling point. At least the others made sense. "Purchase hundreds of upgrades" sounds to me like "You're going to DPS, very very slowly... and when I say slow I mean F*@#ING slow". IYKYK. Otherwise, yeah, it's boring as hell. A game like NGU where it had hundreds of upgrades, I could finish one of them a day or every few days for really heavy ones, regardless of which feature and where I was at. This? You can finish one a week... if you're lucky. "Discover unfolding features" The features are lame and annoying. They each will give a slight power boost, and another small thing to keep track of. Yet, so much of it is beyond tedious for the smallest of gains. For example, you have to spend all your unused crafting shards to increase your Stat bonus it provides. That means going through any and all items in your inventory, and throwing those shards into them, at a snail's pace, manually, to increase this bonus. Great if you're experimenting with every possible combination as it will happen naturally, awful when you have to take it up as a job for a day to get it leveled up. So many of these features are disappointing and offer little improvement to a hellishly slow progression. Do not waste your time, the only reason I have hours put into this game is I'm invested in finishing for the sake of throwing it away and hiding it in my library for eternity. I've quit and started it up multiple times just for the sake of completing it, yet struggle to have the resolve to spend more than 6 months 'playing' this awful game. There is a Walgreen's receipt length list of idle games you can play instead. You could go create a character in PoE and just watch them stand there for hours and have more fun and more progression than this game feels. It is eternally an early access game, the dev keeps it up because of the small amount of revenue it generates them of people desperate to get a little boost from a game he has no intention of finishing or improving. He is better off deleting this game, and you are better off never downloading this.
Haven't played this in forever but I remember the feedback loop being pretty satisfying. Lots of QOL features.
Janky and mean where it doesn't need to be. Exploring the skill grid is inverted, fixing this makes it respond in an odd way. I believe its fighting some kind of smoothing meant for the other direction? It's very jittery, and even at max speed it's slower than you moved your cursor. Default is it moves opposite of your cursor faster than the cursor moved. It's just mean to not store equipment load out items. In fact i can foresee people loosing items while switching load outs. It's slow, You should be saying omg not another one of these. They are never pricey are they, just lock everything behind a grind, You will probably never finish them, in fact in a couple months you will quit just because of how little progress you made.
It's one of those games where it's okay and a little fun at first, but then you keep hitting wall after wall. Almost feels like no real progress is being made most of the time
그냥 그렇다, 노가다 게임이다.
Фу!
