God of Riffs: Battle For The Metalverse

Oink oink, fellow gamers! As a pig, I have to say that God of Riffs is one of the best VR rhythm games I've played, and I owe it all to my friend who gifted it to me. This game is a total headbanger, and I love it! In God of Riffs, you get to swing axes to the sound of heavy metal music and defeat hordes of skeletons. It's a lot like Beat Saber, but with a much more metal feel. The graphics are awesome, and the music is so loud and exciting that I can't help but get caught up in the action. Now, I know God of Riffs is still in early access, but let me tell you, it's already amazing. The developers have done an incredible job of creating a game that's fun, challenging, and addictive. Sure, there are some bugs and glitches here and there, but they're nothing compared to the sheer joy of chopping down skeleton after skeleton while rocking out to some seriously epic metal tunes. But what really sets God of Riffs apart is how useful it is for exercise. As a pig, I'm all about staying in shape, and let me tell you, this game is a great workout. I've worked up a serious sweat playing this game, and it's helped me shed a few pounds too. Plus, it's so much fun that I forget I'm even exercising! Overall, I highly recommend God of Riffs to any metalheads out there who love rhythm games. It's still in early access, but it's already one of my favorite games to play in VR. I can't wait to see what the developers do with it next. Oink out!

Hey! This is a solid game that you got here! I could feel the energy coursing through by veins playing this game! Only one caveat that I gotta mention, the head tracking (specifically on Quest 2) is very wonky and could lead to motion sickness issues if not taken care of. That is all.

Слава и популярность Bear Saber не дает многим покоя и поэтому клоны лезут из всех щелей. Но отличия все же есть,игра сделана с графикой и не претендует на задрачивание как в BS. В руки нам дали гитары о_О..и ими мы рубим идущих на нас скелетов и летающие черепушки. Для всех тех кто любит Рок и все что потяжелее. Игра в раннем доступе...вылетают артефакты.. Wenn steam das Festival der Rhythmusspiele eröffnet, muss man als Liebhaber solcher Spiele einfach schauen, was da so zu finden ist. Aktuell sind viele schöne Sachen im Angebot. Ein Fundstück war dieses Spiel. Musik - geht klar. Aufmachung - gut gemacht, mit lustigen Zombiefeinden, die man dann im Takt zur Musik niederschlagen kann. Wie in beat saber (und etlichen anderen ähnlichen Spielen), hat man in jeder Hand eine Waffe in entsprechender Farbe. Die Kombos sind zum Teil sehr wild und gehen überkreuz. Über den marschierenden Zombies, flattern auch Totenköpfe mit Flügeln herum und es kann sehr voll auf der map werden. Inhalt ist okay, könnte aber mehr sein. Schwierigkeitsstufen gibt es 4, wobei die schwierigste nicht wirklich schwierig ist und man die darunter evtl. nie anrühren wird. Einstellungen kann man einige vornehmen, für die Waffe würde ich mir allerdings mehr Möglichkeiten wünschen. Es gibt verschiedene Umgebungen, die man aber erst frei schalten muss. Ebenso Waffen(skins). Finde die Aufmachung des Spiels gelungen, passt schon irgendwie zum Thema und auch zum Preis. Nun, wo ich etwas mehr Zeit mit dem Spiel verbracht habe, noch einige Anmerkungen: der Inhalt ist nicht mehr als eine Stunde lang, was den Arcademodus betrifft. Nun kann man natürlich alles noch einmal durchspielen. Und diejenigen, die mit leicht anfangen, können sich natürlich an die schwereren maps heran tasten - und haben somit auch noch etwas zu tun. Es gibt auch noch einen Geschichtenmodus, der die Spielzeit vielleicht etwas streckt. Mit den Modifikatoren (mit der Index war es etwas schwierig diese auszuwählen) hat man noch ein wenig Abwechslung. Allerdings gibt es dafür keinen Eintrag in die Scoreliste. Die Musik im Spiel ist sehr leise, man muss den Ton also jedesmal lauter stellen. Die maps schwanken in der Qualität. Einige spielen sich richtig gut und ausgeglichen, andere fühlen sich wie dahin geworfen an und machen nicht wirklich Spaß. Sie ähneln sich letztendlich dann doch sehr, ich hatte mit mehr Abwechslung und Kombos gerechnet. Es gibt ein paar Übersetzungsfehler und einige buttons haben gar keine Beschriftung (funktionieren aber dennoch). Meine Begeisterung vom Anfang ist nun doch etwas gedämpft. Aber ich empfehle das Spiel dennoch, wenn man etwas spielen möchte was man und was sich selbst nicht so ernst nimmt. Ein Spaß-Spiel sozusagen, in dem man sich bewegt, was aber keine großen Ansprüche stellt. Und ich empfehle es, wenn es im Angebot ist - dann kann man es durchaus mal ausprobieren. Ob man es dann behält, muss man eben sehen. Ich werde es nun doch zurück geben, da es letztendlich alles zu ähnlich war, als das ich begeistert sagen würde: das war cool und will ich noch mal erleben. Aber vielleicht ist genau dies etwas, was andere suchen - ein einfaches Spiel.

[12/2024] Quest 3 with Touch Controller Just played the tutorial so no long term experience but I had some bugs like missing text on in game buttons that I had to guess what's continue or back and in the difficult setting all menu text was missing. Gameplay: There were too many skeletons in the tutorial so I had no sense of rhythm and so I waved the controllers wildly and still achieved an A rating. The music was good, but I couldn't see any connection to the skeletons.

good , kinda cheesy metal songs, Variable difficulties let you set the challenge level that suits you, They added a few songs which was a welcome addition. It would be awesome to thrash the skeleton foes listening to In Flames or S.O.A.D.. I'm betting yhere are some established bands that would give publishing rights to Boss for ONE of their songs
