Warning: AI Slop This game is completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
Lucky me gets to be the first to warn gamers about this highly unethical, disgusting behavior from an AI slop vibe coder. There's a lot of really bad games on Steam, trust me. Many of them are garbage, mostly because they're either unethical or from people who don't know how to make video games but "try" anyway, and publish their failure on Steam Direct after paying Valve $100 to self publish. This is worse than all of that, it's a direct affront, a pure insult to gamers. The entirety of this is AI slop vibe coded, the "developer" prompted a ChatGPT like LLM AI bot to write the entire game... a disgusting cash grab, an attempted scam to try get YOUR money for unadulterated, half baked AI slop. This is absolutely disgusting. Putting the slop aside (which is impossible, this is 100% slop), here's the awful truth about this scam. This slop is another "numbers go up" simulator with GobboQuestIdle. It's a brain-dead clicker/incrementer: click, buy upgrades, click more, repeat until bored (this happens immediately, I tried, it's the same as all the others). Predictably, the technical execution is just as lazy as the gameplay loop. Except it barely works because the developer didn't test the slop. The implementation here is of such poor quality, the developer couldn't work out how to make the game display in fullscreen, it only runs in a 1:1 aspect ratio window. I'm not sure he even ran it. You can actually prompt the AI to make a game display in fullscreen (Yeah, I have used slop to make games to try it out, but no, I'm not so arrogant that I would publish it anywhere people would see it, because that would be unethical and harmful). So, the developer just didn't bother working his AI slop before publishing it. Nasty. The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2026 (and this was released not so far back in 2026), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware. Those technical flaws drag this game well below the minimum quality standards expected of a modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the game all-time peak player count was only ONE player. That's right, only one person ever played this at a time. When I played this for the purposes of reviewing it, I equalled the peak player count for the game. OUCH. The only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Let's talk about pricing and the actual value this has for gamers. Is this game one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? GobboQuestIdle is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. The use of AI slop is a direct insult to gamers and real, ethical content creators and artists everywhere. AI models are trained on copyrighted material without permission. The publisher of this AI slop is directly using this copyright infringing trained model for profit. This should be illegal.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
