A good albeit flawed game, but has that "just one more match" quality to it which keeps you interested and a dev team who're still actively releasing updates. I see potential for this game (or its sequel, or games like this) to go from good to great as they fine-tune the jank. While there are similarities to FM, to me this feels more like a first person, almost turn-based version of FIFA career mode or PES Become-a-Legend, and by being focused solely on the growth of your own player it outshines both in that "RPG" feel of becoming your actual player, although limited to forwards. Pros: - The football world here feels large and varied, like FM. - Scoring itself feels fun and rewarding. - addictive, just-one-more game feel. - occupies a unique niche in the genre. Cons: - Janky - Feels a bit repetitive at times, but devs have been adding more "scenes" (which is how your players game action take place) and more variability to those scenes, as once you figure out the main mechanics and are familiar with the scoring scenes it becomes a bit too easy and repetitive to score. - Of course not much in terms of licencing and official clubs, but even the "fake" replacements sometimes are a bit too far from the originals. For e.g. the images for youth players are...clearly not young. I understand the limitations but it does make it more difficult for you to bond or even rival against other players emotionally (which there is gameplay for). PES did this better by being a bit more brave/closer towards the actual player names and appearance, e.g. R. Larcos (Roberto Carlos), N. Lemon (Neil Lennon), Ravoldi (Rivaldo). Using that kind of approach I think would have fit right in with the jankiness of the game.

Also nach ein halbe Saison kann ich die vielen guten Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen. Erfolgreich in diesem Spiel zu sein scheint unmöglich. Egal wie viele Tore man schießt, die Endergebnisse sind immer knapper Sieg, Unentschieden oder knappe Niederlage (um hier genauer zu Erläutern: Ergebnisse in der Französischen 2. Liga 6:5 , 5:4 , 4:4 waren hier meist an der Tagesordnung) selbst wenn man mit 5:0 führte, habe ich, wenn ich auch nur 1 Chance vergeben habe mit 5:6 verloren. Und obwohl ich beim 3. stärksten Team der 2. Liga angeheuert habe, war es absolut nicht möglich gegen die Top 6 Teams der Liga zu gewinnen. Allesamt gingen unentschieden aus oder verloren (auch hier bei 2 Spielen nach 3 Toren Vorsprung). Hier scheinen die Ligaergebnisse klar vordefiniert zu sein und kaum zu ändern zu sein. Schade drum, da das Spiel an sich gut ist. Desweiteren finde ich es sehr Merkwürdig, das 90% meine Versuche mit Aktionen bei der Partnerschaft, Mannschaft, Trainer, Fans und Medien negative Auswirkungen hatten! Auch hier scheint es nicht möglich zu sein das Verhältnis der jeweiligen Teile zu verbessern. Alles in allem. Nettes Spiel, aber sehr viele Negativaspekte die mich die 35€ Investition bereuen lassen. Hoffentlich wird hier nachgebessert.

Mir ist es zum 4 mal passiert das mein eigenes Bild durch ein anderes ersetzt wurde. Klingt eingebildet, aber wenn ich meinen eigenen Spielstand habe sollte es zumindest auch mit meinem Bild sein!

The idea is really cool, here we are on a really well-managed role play, we always move further towards glory and it's quite successful. A few additions to round out the game would be a plus, but otherwise please developer don't give up on the game, it's one of a kind. Keep updating, many thanks FR : Bonjour, alors voilà mon ressenti sur ce jeu. ah ben j'ai été surpris par son développement vraiment au top. L'idée est vraiment cool, là on est sur un rôle-play vraiment bien géré, on avance toujours plus loin jusqu'à la gloire et c'est plutôt réussi. Quelques ajouts pour compléter le jeu seraient un plus, mais sinon, s'il vous plaît, développeur, n'abandonnez pas le jeu, il est unique dans son genre. Continuez les mises à jour, un grand merci

Das Spiel ist zwischendurch mal ganz witzig aber defenitiv überteuertert. Hab es im Sale für 25 Eur gekauft und das ist noch zu viel, weil es einfach ein sehr schlichter Simulator ist. Über Grafik brauchen wir also nicht reden. Nachtrag: Nachdem ich es nun weitergespielt habe, ist mir die Lust in gänze vergangen. Es ist einfach zu stupide. Immer das Gleiche. Ich warte nur darauf, dass ich mich verbessere. Warte im Live-Ticker darauf eingewechselt zu werden, um dann die wenigen Abschlüsse zu versauen, die mir Angeboten werden. Macht mir kein Spaß.

It's not a bad game, but it get's less interesting once you improve as there's less of a challenge to score. Good for 10-15 hours of fun if you buy it on discount. Didn't manage to reach my 1$ per hour max criteria.
