You have to check this one out! Super addictive! The endless combinations of power ups are a lot of fun and adds loads of replayability. The mechanic of the gun propelling you along was tricky to get the hang of at first, but is a lot of fun once you get it. The art style is not too overpowering, animations are satisfying, and the color palette used is hella retrowave while giving good visibility of what is going on around you. The different guns are fun to experiment with, I like the burst gun the best so far. Recommend!
Game play here: https://youtu.be/-ehDPvEYTM0 I think some people will really like this in it's current state which is why I'm recommending it, but I'm not a fan of it particularly even though the game does work and it has some of the things in action roguelites I really like. The creator does a good job with bosses/music/stage design overall so it's a pretty solid game for the price. What I don't like personally is the fact that enemies get stronger over time one of the reasons I really enjoy action roguelike is feeling more overpowered as I unlock upgrades and feeling rushed because of enemies scaling is rough. I think the game really needs a tutorial as well I think the fact that REALLY important information is only given during short load screens is tragic. I hate being bounced around by my gun constantly I honestly wish it was a toggle even if you could only toggle it while on the ground or something to mitigate it the fact you're on a time crunch plus you're ping ponging everywhere is annoying af to me. Projectile enemies with actual bullets not the round projectiles but the yellow bullets shoot straight at you from off screen it just feels cheap when something you can't even see yet is rapid firing at you like a freaking menace especially since there can be quiet a number in one area of things you can't see gatling gunning your booty hole into oblivion. The first boss has a bad habit of running into areas you can't shoot/go which honestly isn't a huge problem he's easily manageable just kind of annoying when he's chilling in the ground. Having an upgrade system for failed runs would be nice as well would be sick if you could get something for doing a run such as unlocking the ability to not get bounced every time you shoot etc. Overall it's a good game and a lot of my statements might be mad cause bad and are completely my opinion just thought I'd drop it since the creator is looking for feedback.
