Go Guess

[h1] Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers. Updated Review. [/h1] So when I first reviewed this game, I gave a negative recommendation citing the blurry 3D photos. I decided to follow up on this review and test out the game again. I am happy to report that on this playthrough, I experienced no issues. The photos did take a while to get into view, maybe like a second or two, but they did get into view. I believe the photos are taken from Google Street view. Either way, they are nicely detailed street views of where you are supposed to guess your current location in the world. You guess 5 locations from the details in the 360 photos. You can teleport around blue chevrons to look for more details to help in your guess. Sometimes you will see something written in a language you recognize, other times you will see certain people's race although their heads are usually out of view (of course they could just be tourists, so don't read too much into it). Maybe you recognize the geography or architecture around. I sometimes had no idea where I was and just took a wild guess. You point at your hand to guess and then put the location on the globe. The closer you are to the correct answer, the better your score. You can then compare your score with daily, weekly, monthly, and all-time leaderboards. Right now, there is only world locations guess. However, other more specific categories are planned. I am not sure whether those will be free as well. Rate 6/10. I had fun, not sure this is something I would come back to but I am happy to change my review.
