A few levels are a bit close but nothing too difficult. Time killer.
Smooth play and some actual challenges
Простенькая игра на составление правильного порядка действий...

I've played all of the Gnomes Garden games except the Halloween one. All have been fun. A few have some glitches but none of them take away from the main purpose of this game - casual game play. The story line is very kid friendly and you can go for three stars on everything if you really want to stress yourself out, but the more you play the game series, the easier it is for you to get those three stars on every level. The developers have added some extra game play concepts as the series progresses so there is usually something new with each title. If you're looking for a change of pace from your other games (like I did with my first person shooters and real time strategy games), you can't go wrong with this series. I played a few levels of the first game on my wife's computer and got so hooked I ended up buying all the titles for myself and playing through them. It has been enjoyable for sure.
Love these games! Even though they might be quite simple, I find them quite enjoyable. Every level poses some new requirements, and some of the levels are a challenge to finish with 3 stars. Definitely recommend!
Gnomes Garden: Christmas Story, developed by Toyman and published by 8Floor, is a festive time-management strategy game that combines resource gathering, kingdom restoration, and holiday-themed storytelling into a cheerful and accessible adventure. As part of the long-running Gnomes Garden series, the game continues the formula that fans have come to enjoy while wrapping everything in a cozy Christmas atmosphere filled with magical creatures, snowy landscapes, and seasonal charm. It is a game designed primarily for casual players, offering light strategic challenges without sacrificing its relaxing and family-friendly appeal. The story begins during what should be the happiest time of the year. The Kingdom of Gnomeland is preparing for Christmas celebrations and an important royal event when disaster strikes. A disgruntled troll, annoyed by the constant noise and activity, steals the kingdom's Christmas tree along with gifts intended for the holiday festivities. With the celebration in jeopardy, the princess and her companions set out on a journey to recover the stolen treasures and restore Christmas spirit to the kingdom. The narrative remains simple throughout the adventure, but its cheerful tone and fairy-tale presentation make it a pleasant backdrop for the gameplay. At its core, Gnomes Garden: Christmas Story is a resource-management game built around completing objectives as efficiently as possible. Players direct workers across a variety of maps, collecting materials, repairing structures, clearing obstacles, and opening pathways toward new objectives. Every level presents a series of tasks that must be completed using limited resources, requiring players to prioritize actions carefully and develop efficient strategies. The gameplay is easy to understand, making it approachable for newcomers while still offering enough challenge to remain entertaining. One of the game's strongest qualities is its pacing. Levels are designed to be completed in relatively short sessions, making the game ideal for casual play. Objectives are clearly communicated, and the controls are intuitive, allowing players to focus on planning rather than struggling with complicated mechanics. The challenge comes from optimizing routes and resource usage rather than dealing with overwhelming complexity. This design philosophy makes the game particularly relaxing while still providing satisfying moments of strategic decision-making. The campaign contains over forty levels spread across multiple environments, each introducing new scenery and gameplay situations. Players travel through snowy forests, exotic tropical regions, mysterious caves, and other imaginative locations during their quest. These varied settings help maintain visual interest and ensure that the adventure continues to feel fresh as new challenges are introduced. The progression through different regions gives the game a sense of scale despite its relatively simple structure. Resource management remains at the center of every level. Wood, food, gold, and other materials must be gathered and allocated carefully in order to progress. Deciding whether to clear a blocked road, repair an important structure, or unlock a new resource source often requires thoughtful planning. While the mechanics are streamlined compared to more complex strategy games, they provide enough depth to reward players who think ahead and manage their workers efficiently. The inclusion of special abilities and bonuses adds another layer of strategy. Certain powers can speed up workers, increase productivity, or provide temporary advantages that help players overcome difficult situations. Knowing when to activate these bonuses can significantly affect performance, particularly on later levels where objectives become more demanding. These abilities help keep the gameplay engaging and provide satisfying opportunities for optimization. Visually, Gnomes Garden: Christmas Story embraces a colorful and inviting art style. Snow-covered landscapes, festive decorations, magical creatures, and charming fantasy architecture combine to create a world that feels perfectly suited to a holiday adventure. The bright presentation ensures that every level is pleasant to explore, while the seasonal theme gives the game a warm and cheerful identity that distinguishes it from other entries in the genre. The character designs contribute significantly to the game's appeal. Gnomes, trolls, magical animals, and other fantasy inhabitants populate the world, adding personality and charm to the adventure. These characters help bring the kingdom to life and reinforce the fairy-tale atmosphere that runs throughout the experience. Although the story itself remains relatively simple, the colorful cast helps maintain a sense of whimsy and fun. The soundtrack complements the presentation effectively. Light, upbeat music accompanies the gameplay, helping establish a festive mood without becoming distracting. The cheerful melodies fit the holiday setting perfectly and contribute to the game's relaxing atmosphere. Sound effects are equally functional, providing satisfying feedback whenever resources are collected, buildings are repaired, or objectives are completed. Accessibility is another major strength. The game introduces its mechanics gradually and avoids overwhelming players with excessive complexity. Newcomers to time-management games can quickly understand the fundamentals, while experienced players can focus on achieving optimal completion times and higher ratings. This balance allows the game to appeal to a wide audience, including younger players and those seeking a low-stress gaming experience. The primary weakness lies in the game's simplicity. Players familiar with previous Gnomes Garden titles or other time-management games may find the formula somewhat repetitive. Although new environments and objectives help maintain variety, the core gameplay loop changes very little throughout the campaign. The game prioritizes comfort and familiarity over innovation, which may leave some experienced strategy fans wanting more depth. Similarly, the story serves mainly as a framework for progression rather than a deeply developed narrative. The quest to save Christmas is charming, but character development and plot complexity remain minimal. Players seeking a strong story-driven experience may find the narrative too lightweight, though it fits the casual nature of the game perfectly. Ultimately, Gnomes Garden: Christmas Story succeeds because it delivers exactly what it promises: a cheerful holiday-themed strategy adventure filled with resource management, light puzzles, and festive charm. The combination of accessible gameplay, colorful visuals, varied locations, and relaxing pacing creates an experience that remains consistently enjoyable from beginning to end. For fans of casual time-management games, fantasy adventures, and Christmas-themed entertainment, Gnomes Garden: Christmas Story offers several hours of pleasant and rewarding gameplay. Its charming presentation and approachable mechanics make it an excellent choice for players looking to unwind with a lighthearted strategy game during the holiday season or at any time of year. Rating: 7/10
Excelente jogo da saga Gnomes Garden, simples e rápido de zerar, mas não deixa de ser desafiador.
Comme tous les jeux de la série Gnomes Garden, celui-ci est très sympa.
Très sympa, à rejouer de temps en temps
