Now for Easter, this Christmas game fits quite well, doesn't it? Well, the game doesn't have much to do with Christmas, but with collecting and this is a lot of fun. A mix of different difficulties, never too difficult but not easy either. The cards are very well made, rather minimalistic, but therefore good for overviews. Even if it looks like it, it is not intended for children. There are masses of thieves here and we certainly don't want to teach children that. The story is so-so but not badly done. All in all I am very positively surprised, a great casual game. My recommendation has it. Reise ins abenteuerliche Zwergenland, beweise deine Klick-Management-Strategie und hilf den Zwergen, das Weihnachtsfest zu retten! (Entwickler) Mein erstes Spiel dieser Serie. Jetzt zu Ostern passt dieses Weihnachtsspiel ja Recht gut, oder? Nun ja mit Weihnachten hat das Spiel nicht viel zu tun aber mit Sammeln und dies macht viel Spaß. Ein Mix aus verschiedenen Schwierigkeiten, nie zu schwer aber auch nicht leicht. Die Karten sind sehr gut gemacht, eher Minimalistich, dadurch jedoch gut zu Überblicken. Auch wenn es so aussieht, für Kinder ist es nicht gedacht. Hier gibt es Massen von Dieben und sowas wollen wir Kinder ja sicher nicht beibringen. Die Geschichte ist so lala aber nicht schlecht gemacht. Alles in allem bin ich sehr Positiv überrascht, ein prima Gelegenheitsspiel. Meine Empfehlung hat es. [h3]Gnomes Garden[/h3] [u]Klick-/ Zeitmanagement[/u] Die Krönung der Zwergenprinzessin steht bevor, und das an Weihnachten. Alle freuen sich auf das Fest, doch ärgerlich ist nur, dass die Trolle die ganze Dekoration geklaut haben... Das Szenario ist das übliche: Level für Level sind die Wege zu räumen, Steinbrüche und andere Gebäude sind zur Produktion von Rohstoffen zu errichten - die dann ihrerseits Rohstoffe herstellen, die für alles weitere benötigt werden. Auch wieder dabei sind die Gebäude für die Zauberin, den Feuerwehrmann und und und... - natürlich ist wieder alles in der gewohnt drolligen Optik. Wahlweise kann man das Spiel völlig entspannt spielen, oder, wenn man alles schaffen will um das Maximum von 3 Sternen pro Level zu erhalten, auch geplant und konzentriert - doch die Zeit wird immer sehr knapp. Warum eine neue Rezension für immer das gleiche Spiel ? Nun, erwartet habe ich hier dasselbe wie immer: einigermaßen herausfordernde Level, die aber nicht allzu schwer in "3 Sterne-Zeit" zu schaffen sind. Von wegen ! Dieser Teil ist diesmal eine Herausforderung, denn so einfach mal locker 3 Sterne zu holen ist nicht leicht, das will geplant sein, auch weil man zusätzlich in manchen Leveln genau darauf achten muss, in welcher Reihenfolge man die Wege räumt und Gebäude baut. Denn ist z.B. erstmal das Holz alle, bevor man dazu kommt, ein Sägewerk zu bauen, dann heißt das Level-Neustart und neu planen. Das unterscheidet diesen Teil von den vorherigen schon etwas. Wer das Genre gerne spielt, wird auch diesmal seine Zerstreuung haben - ob entspannt oder ehrgeizig. Neulinge finden einen herausfordernden Einsteiger in die Serie und könnten entweder etwas frustriert sein ob der erhöhten Schwierigkeit oder gerade deshalb Freude daran haben. Wenn es zu schwer sein sollte, gibt es ja noch andere Teile der Reihe, die etwas leichter sind - zum Üben sozusagen (und auch noch andere Serien des Genres wie "12 Labours of Hercules, Sibylle´s Prophecy und einige andere). Ich hatte nichts am Spiel auszusetzen, deshalb kann ich es empfehlen. Nebenbei bemerkt zählen die Errungenschaften fürs Profil, 100%-Jäger sollten es sich 2 x überlegen, ob sie die Stunden investieren wollen.

This game is really cute and perfect for zoning out while you're waiting for the cannabis to kick in. There's no frustrating clock you're working against, really. If you want 3 stars then there's a cute little timer that reminds you softly, but other than that this game is really relaxing, cute, festive and fun. One thing I will say, though...if you're looking for that 100% achievement quickly, it won't happen because a couple of the achievs are kind of hard to get...one of them is getting 3 stars on ALL levels. It will take you some time, but completely doable. Anyway, I def recommend this game. Have fun!

Gnomes Garden: Christmas Story is a strategic path clearing, time managing puzzle game. It's simple, fun and it becomes very addictive to achieve that perfect high score. The levels take only a few minutes each to clear but are often easily completed. The game offers a decent amount of content to keep you busy for a while. Well designed levels which get harder as you progress. I enjoyed the dialog about erecting a Christmas Tree, Christmas will never be the same again for me. Even though I recommend this game, I won't recommend it for the price of 12,49€, which is absolutely a ridiculous price to me. The 12 Labours of Hercules series are very similar to this game, but those look better and are 2,99€ each.

If you agree the original Die Hard movie was a Christmas themed movie, than I'll agree this is a Christmas themed game. In all honesty, it's just a reskinned Gnomes Garden game, nothing wrong with that and if you are after more of the same, go ahead, a couple of levels pose a challenge, although overall easy to 100% compared to later 12 Labours titles. If you are however looking specifically for a Christmas themed game, move along. Please note that this review does not factor in the price for Gnomes Garden: Christmas Story. DO NOT buy this game at full price, it's a rip off. Gnomes Garden 1, 2, 3, New Home & Lost King are all £3.99 each and those games are worth that price. Typischer aufbau wie alle anderen Gnomes Garden Teile - nur andere Story. Zur Weihnachtszeit gibts bestimmt ein tolles feeling :D (wegen deko musik usw). Es war etwas schwieriger alle Level auf 3 Sterne zu bekommen (gerade wenn man vergisst auf den Zeit-Stop-Button zu klicken.. xD) aber sonst toll. :) + Erfolge
