About
Get Rid Of Those Corners is a geometric incremental game with an unexpected twist.
Break as many shapes as possible by getting close to them within your radius of action. Collect vertices and buy upgrades that will let you get rid of more sides on your next run! Forcefully propel the captured shapes so they crash against the map walls, dealing massive damage until they are reduced to ashes. Your mission is clear: restore that primitive world made up entirely of perfectly round circles.
Trigger Chain Reactions: Unleash unpredictable physical chaos.
Reduce the World to Ashes: Eliminate the corners of the maps.
Upgrade Tree: Invest your vertices to become unstoppable.
Break Shapes: Dismantle geometry from the inside out.

Genuinely addictive incremental with a unique twist — you’re literally removing corners from shapes to trigger chain reactions and chaos. Sounds simple, gets surprisingly deep fast. Super original concept, satisfying mechanics, and a lot of heart for a solo dev project. If you like idle/incremental games, this one deserves way more players. 10/10 would remove corners again.
From the Triangle level (phase four) onwards, the game becomes completely unplayable, running at 2fps (literally), with constant bugs in the skill tree (when you enter it after finishing a match, no skills appear – just the “Continue” button – or you’re met with a black screen, and the mouse cursor disappears…). I don’t recommend buying it until this is fixed in future patches. PS: As a possible improvement as well: 1. When you hover over the skills, the tooltip goes off-screen; it would be more convenient if it were responsive depending on where you are, so you can read the description without having to position the skill tree in a specific spot. 2. The ‘character’ can pop out of the frame during a game and disappear. 3. A stats option; achieving 10,000 figures is very frustrating because there’s nowhere to see how much you need to go to reach it, and after 15+ games of completing the game with all skills (without moving the character, the game plays itself) I still haven’t unlocked it.
The first 10-15 minutes were fun but it heavily declined in quality after that. All the upgrades were way too railroaded, there is no reason to save up for a later upgrade because they do the exact same thing. Upgrades also lose impact the further in the game you go. At the start you can get a few upgrades like a shape giving 2 coins instead of one, but towards the end-game you could only buy one upgrade per run and it would have way less impact, like a shape giving 8 coins instead of 7. I think I was earning 10.000 coins per run for a good 20 minutes, with no upgrades actually impacting anything. One of the upgrades even slowed me down because I didn't get enough shapes to break through the triangle's wall easily anymore. There is also a weird bug with the spawn rate of the black hole, where it says it decreases it before buying but actually increases it, so I'm not sure if that even did anything. Towards the end I couldn't even be bothered to keep playing until the end, nothing felt like it actually impacted anything anymore. I appreciate the effort the dev put in but in its current shape I cant recommend it, I'm sorry.
