What cool songs !!! The game is really fun and the songs make the game even cooler! I remembered “Space Invaders” I love this game! I hope the developers make a player of the game's music so that they can listen to it whenever they want! I recommend is a great game and very cheap!
Loved the game! Remembers me of Space Invaders, but at the same time its quite different (in a great way). I've been playing for hours, the music is great and the game has a good pacing. Hope the developers make some sort of player for the musics within the game, it would be awesome. I certainly recommend this game!
Have you ever wondered what would be the mashup of Space Invaders with Tron's neon lights and some well chosen music to spice it? That would be Geometric Feel the Beats! And knowing that the game hasn't a game over is a relief! Because you can just relax destroying the amount of geometric figures that appears on the screen, with a mix of trying to maintain the score multiplier and raise your ranking! =] Oh! That's not all! The released coop mode is a lot of fun! I enjoyed tracing an strategy with a friend to try to maximize our score! xD I'm eager to see which more features they will add to the game through the development! PS: WATCH OUT FOR THE BRAINS!!! They can be a pain to deal alongside the exploding geometric figures! x.x
Geometric Feel The Beats is really shoddy and cheap Invaders mixed with Simon Says game. Music sounds compressed as hell like in a Flash game, ugly menus and fonts, no custom music option. It's a dud.
A game having bgm is not enough for the rhythm tag or a name like "feel the beats."

Spyware Warning! This game acts as spyware and performs personal data gathering and transmission. There's no immediate apparent way to opt out. This is completely unethical and reprehensible. Gamers must be aware of the dangers of installing this harmful software and should avoid this completely.
"Geometric Feel the Beats" is craptastic Brazilian spyware with a lame Space Invaders ripoff game wrapped around it. Like Space Invaders, you shoot baddies coming down at you, the only twist is you need to right click to change your colour so your colour shoots the same colour enemies, but this 20 minutes worth of game development effort adds nothing new to this intellectually bankrupt ripoff of the ancient Atari arcade game. No, the primary purpose of this is to spy on gamers to harvest their data (it even says so in the EULA). From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. "Geometric Feel the Beats" didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for finishing the first level, trivial to get, but less than 35 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 7 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement. This agreement includes questionable (and possibly law breaching) privacy requirements that no gamer should ever have to engage in. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. As mentioned, this game behaves as spyware and collects "telemetry" and personally identifying information. There is no apparent way to prevent this hostile and sinister privacy invasion. The developers will make the unverifiable claim that this data isn't personally identifying, of course that's BS as they're collecting IPs and all kinds of other information about gamers, when combined with other profiling data this can 100% identify an individual. They'll say it's for "QA" purposes but there's no guarantee they're not profiling you or selling your data to third parties as they spy on you. Should you trust them? Of course not... if they had any concerns about user safety and privacy, they wouldn't have built spyware into their game with no way to disable it! There's simply no reason to trust them and gamers should avoid this game because of this unacceptable privacy invasion. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product.
Profile Features Limited!
Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game. "Geometric Feel the Beats" is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.
I love shape games and saw this on special offer. Allured by the bright effects and promise of a competitive environment I decided to give it a go, not at any risk really as I got this for just over a £. The controls are innovative for a shooter, using all four edges of the screen through the teleport system. Shapes with different colours and movement patterns pass across the screen for your ship to fire upon, an emphasis on accuracy is highlighted early on and your score ramps up in chain through a rather standard multiplier system. Similar to fellow space shooter title Ikaruga, this game uses colour to diversify the experience, requiring you to use the switchable colour of the ship to shoot the corresponding colour and increase your score throughout the 2 stage round in each level, this adds opportunity for further finesse and difficulty. The ranking structure is simple and understandable. The global scoring system is rather interesting and unique, I think it is the stand out feature of the game being that you must use your score to upgrade the ship as a currency. If you were no1 on the leaderboard and decided to go all out on the next model, your motivated to try and build that score back up to reach the top spot once again. This is can see as both a positive and negative in peoples differing opinion but I personally like the originality. The blurb for the game on the stores is what I would call half true, in that competition is a key element and will hopefully grow with time, however the music and sounds is where I started to see issues. Which, being that this is a feel the beats type title, was disappointing. The first issue during play was this repeated word (which I will spell wrong no doubt) “Contrau” which triggered when you increase your multiplier, I heard it constantly over the course of each round and it really got on my nerves toward the end of my play time, so much so I had to turn off SFX to continue on with the game. Why not just say double, triple, quadruple and max? Or nothing, that works too. Music in general could be better and more fitting for a neon style game, it's rather bland in places and repetitive. The round victory music especially seemed rather out of place. Note to YAW - Please see the game 'Super Hexagon' for an example of music style I believe would better suit this title. If it’s is indeed a beats game, It would be nice if you could apply your own music to it and the shapes could be a bit more connected to the music rhythm itself. This is just a standard shooter and music is not is key feature, in my opinion. One of the music packs is called Stinky Toilet, which I found ironic. As mentioned previously, the colours and effects are great, the developer has kindly taken the time and consideration to apply a photosensitivity warning when the game loads up (needed as this game is a light show in it's own right) and I must say that I absolutely love the level starting sequence shown as the beginning of each level. The 'enemies' or shapes that are your targets have a hit box which is indicated by the column following in it's wake, however you will quickly notice that the triangles extend in size past the column and is a little unnatural feeling when you felt assured that you hit a corner of the shape, yet the shot didn't count due to not being within this column. To correct this a change could be made to ensure the full shape stays inside the column, further allowing you to control the ship through peripheral vision. With a few extra features and much better music, this would be a fine title for my pick up and play library. 3/10. Bugs and notes Ranking position 99 to 10? (It doesn't display as rank 100) When the mission is complete, shapes can still reach the bottom of the map and deduct score, minor thing, still annoying. There are a few typos in the game itself, I am always guilty of the odd typo but this is a paid for product so should be cleared up, one in particular which jumped out at me was that the community tab is spelt Comunity.
I'm really enjoying Geometric Feel the Beats! It's frenetic and has campaigns that make it even better! A thousand things happening on the screen, colorful and with a handsome space visual style, the game looks like a mix of the Tron movie and the Space Invaders game but completely reinvented, with new mechanics, missions and giant bosses! The music is dynamic and the universe is full of light and effects! The game has scores sistems where it shows where each Steam user is ranked like the Arcades in the past and with the points it is possible to improve your ship. Great idea! Congratulations to the Creators! The main campaign has a very fun evolution of the difficulty and in the coop mode you can spend hours and hours shooting a lot with friends! Great job guys!
Navigate your spaceship, shoot geometric shapes to earn points, use points to upgrade the ship and shoot more geometrics. What is the point of the game? To have fun without the "Game Over" screen. I want to play and enjoy this game, but I have some issues with it: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1284550/discussions/0/2915472677732167028/ https://steamcommunity.com/app/1284550/discussions/0/2915472677732990947/ The voice is annoying and the colors are easy to confuse. But those are just my gripes. If you like fast-action games with shooting and strategic planning then give a try to Geometric Feel the Beats!
Terrible gameplay, terrible sound (and I don't mean 'soundtrack' I mean literally the sound, overall, is almost painfully low quality, it sounds like its 8 bit and not even 16k hz). It's only a couple bucks but I've requested a refund. There are far better rhythm games, and far better shmups, and beyond that ones that are actually FUN.
