Genshin Impact

This game changed my life. I’ve been playing this game since v1.0, in the midst of the pandemic as a girl who was struggling socially and mentally. Genshin gave me something to do, each character ascended felt like something I accomplished, every character pulled made me go “I earned that.” Aside from the routine-like structure it gave me in my otherwise hectic life, it brought me closer to people. This game gave me a sense of purpose and belonging where there wasn’t one. Thank you hoyo.

Don’t play genshin Rewards in this game is so bad. You’re getting only 60 pulls per patch. No skip button. Bad design. Bad lore (except for Sumeru and Fontaine). Genshin devs don’t care about their own game

greed is unreal obtaining characters is insanely difficult. not even worth the effort. it ruins the game completely it 100% feels like a money grab. i hate this game i only sometimes play it when my gf forces me too but even she is losing interest in how scummy the mechanics are. you made such a good game absolutely unplayable. your scum hoyoverse. i hate everything about your company

Character designs Look, I've been playing genshin Impact since its peak days back in liyue and inazuma. It pains me so much to say how annoying this company is proving to be with this game. Now I understand that most gacha games give their fabbases fan service but IT GETS TO A POINT. Because tell me why, lauma, a sacred lady that is known to hold rituals, heal the suffering, and be a messenger of the moon maiden IS HALF NAKED. Not only is her chest cleavage completely exposed, and oh-so-conveniently very big, people can't even look at the side profile of her dress without her looking like a complete stripper. I hate to have to bring this up because this character is genuinely so kind and useful in the story line and the gameplay is gorgeous. But why are we oversexualising the women? Another big headache is Varessa's design. This character has absolutely zero personality except eating food, the design is the most basic and revealing clothes ever, and her attack IS LITERALLY SITTING ON HER ENEMY'S FACE. Not to mention how, despite most Nation characters being inspired by native American tribes or African tribes, these characters are the whitest human beings ever. The amount of whitewashing being done in this game is down right ridiculous. Another thing bugging me is how female character designs are like cutting off half of the male designs and slapping them on their bodies and calling it a day. Because why are 99% of women here with short dresses, detached sleeves, big chests, nothing on the thighs, high heels, and completely white as snow?

Love the game! but.. I have always loved Genshin Impact. It shaped me in many ways and i can never go wrong with it, but i’d really prefer if we could take a dive back into the past and nostalgia— like windtrace, old regions, etc. And $100 for only 50 pulls? not even a guaranteed 5 star for the one you want. It’s really obscene. Free To Play players have to spend so much time just to get not enough for what they want. Not much goes to player expectations which is sad.

Horrible I hate this app so friking much This app is a disgrace to every single video game out there. It makes it so hard to make an account. Also it’s just horrible. I couldn’t even make an account because it was so difficult to make especially with the parent approval thing. It’s acting like this game is from the freaking mafia. And acting like it’s the most violent horrible most disgraceful game out there based on its restrictions that it’s asking the parent to do and the way it’s making the parent have to make sure it’s an adult with like all its information and everything it’s acting like it’s a flipping hacker trying to steal all the grown-ups information and I’m not gonna say the game was glitchy or anything. The game looks fun. Ngl but it is just so hard to make an account that I couldn’t even do it. They need to fix that to make it more accessible and I hope it gets a boycotted until they fix that problem!

The new characters It’s just the problem with the new characters coming for sneznaya. It’s suppose to be the coldest region but they give females detached sleeves, open chests, short skirts and stockings, while the males get full clothing and it just doesn’t make sense, i really like the old genshin when they didn’t care abt fan services, plus their concept designs for characters are super awesome and have more coverage, but their final designs are just…meh and weird.

Badly made, poor quality, Hoyo doesn’t listen to the community. Genshin Impact is my favorite game and ever since I first started playing I fell in love, but I highly suggest you don’t play it. There is poor cutscene presentation, storage bloat, aggressive monetization and gacha system, lack of player-friendly features, horrible power creep, and a resin system. I will not go into detail explaining this because Genshin has already taken much of my time, but I highly recommend for you to watch thegreat.jpg1’s video on why they’re quitting Genshin. I do genuinely love Genshin Impact with all my heart and a burning passion, that’s why I am quitting this game.
