There is not much here. Beyond that it has great bones, ie, a great framework for the future. The interface is easy to read, easy to play. Fun to play. Just needs some minor QoL adjustments and a ton of content to be a great gem. Bugs/issues> Font/ui seems to not be 1080... or something. Text is blurry. Trying to equip... equipment below the main screen is impossible for me, as it snaps back to the top whenever I try to use the equipment. As a side note (Those images are familiar)Allow us to customize our(image)self. As an.... addendum, the core of the game seems to be built quite well (IE with this specific style of game in mind, rather than adapted to it), and it just feels good to play. A bit more care in representation, and you know, future content, it'll easily be in my top idle/adventures.....
A solid base being worked on incessantly by a developer that cares makes this an easy recommendation for a game that respects your time. Further polish is required for this one to be great, but try the demo and see if it strikes your fancy.
Full story playthrough so far and tips/tricks on the game: https://youtu.be/qDkuwipNECw Overall I think this is worth the price the only suggestions I have is take the level cap off the stat boosts in the unknown tab for the sheer fact it gives you something to do as your characters fighting to boost your stats only being able to get 5-12 stat boosts one at a time and then having to wait til level 50 before you can get 3 points more is a bit lame to be honest. Idle games are supposed to make you feel stronger as you play them this doesn't have many ways to boost your basically relegated to leveling which takes forever when you get to around level 40 and hoping loot drops. I do love how the challenge dungeons try to get you to use different items/classes to beat them which is nice, but they scale super hard and you don't. I also don't know why what I believe to be auto advance is behind such a high level I got to 50 and still hadn't unlocked it which is pretty insane for something that should auto be in the game tbh. I would also suggest changing the title from play as isabel and play as you to story mode and idle mode because the story mode feels like a turn based rpg even though it plays the same your goal is to progress as fast as possible and playing idly isn't worth it to be honest and idle mode is the actual idle part of the game. There's also a glitch if you have to scroll on a menu if you click with your mouse it'll jump to the top and not click so you have to use the arrow keys. It's definitely good for the price, but rough around the edges.
Took me like 20 mins to finish :/
Playing this game has been a roller-coaster of experiences. To begin with, the gameplay is pleasing, especially to a lazy player such as myself. I do not fancy long game tutorials, so learning how to play a game just by playing it was much appreciated. Also, it was my first idle RPG and the first game I played a game from this developer whom I have the pleasure of knowing. I do not know if the genre suits me, but I must admit I like that the game has a “fast pace” and gives the player a lot of freedom. Moreover, the story has a lot of potential, and I look forward to the following chapters. Would definitely recommend it to those who indeed like idle RPG and those brave enough to explore this genre.
BRAZIL MENTIONED
eh. It simultaneously has too much going on and not enough going on, all presented in... a very difficult to parse way. It's just not engaging enough to compete with everything else out there.
Its just not good.
I can't really recommend this in its current state. The game has two parts: a very short campaign and an endless mode. The endless mode has a variety of long-term tech that can be researched. There are two final tech that have 27 levels and take a long time to get through. There is also a reincarnation system that happens after your character reaches a level based on a formula. First time is usually 77. Next time is 136+ (for me was 177), and so on. The game also lets you shut it off to earn time for tech at an 80% rate and time for battle at a 100% rate. The reason why I can't really recommend it in its current state was because it was breaking my mouse after leaving it on for 24 hours. Longer than that and it started breaking my USB ports. I'd have to restart my computer to get my mouse and USB ports working again. I will say that this game does offer enough content to merit a $5.00 pricetag, even if some of the final content is halfbaked.
i like idle games and i like this one!
