the coming out experience will never be a one size fits all narrative, but this game does a good job at painting a picture of how hard it can be. I recommend.
I have a similar experience with this with myself recently coming out. I just wish there are those that can respect us and what not so that we can feel belonged. Also, I recently realized I have gender dysphoria so this hits home alot for me. I wish you well on your endeavors alright. I know it's a struggle but like with most things in life it is process. With most processes, it progresses and gets better I can promise you that.
It's a good, short game and accomplishes what it set out to do Do kinda wish there was a chronologically linear version for if you already listened to the disconnected version, so 9/10

Short, but not expensive. Absolutely worth playing/finishing.
I think it just does not really tell much. I have had gender dysphoria since like... ever, and I haven't really came out as trans outside of the internet. I get what the game goes for, seeing how much pain it goes into not being able to live comfortably as a female when you have a male body and people associate you with a male. Even then, I think that it is just... not as crazy bad as the game tries to put it with its music and such? Everyone in the story except of a girl was really respectful to the protagonist and she kind of antagonizes them. I see it as a way to emphasize not things like transphobia but instead how the protagonist fails to feel comfortable with herself, which is fine, but I was just expecting something much deeper when the game threw that text of "don't play this if you are dealing with depression" and such. Just to make my point clear: I think that the game should make a bigger effort to let people who have not experienced gender dysphoria know how it feels. I certainly know why the protagonist feels how she feels, but I think that a person coming to the game without knowing it would not understand why the protagonist is suffering so much from apparently normal conversations. I think that a bigger emphasis on the protagonist's feelings and let her explain how and why she feels would have made for a much better experience as educating people on gender dysphoria, and I think that should be the focus since for any trans person this does not really add anything new or really interesting.
It took me ages to play this because i wanted to be in a good mindset but after finally getting to this i gotta say, I adored it. I think I could have played it on a 'not good, not bad' mental health day as well but hindsight does its thing. The voice actors are great at their job, very quick experience, and i may come back to try out the other options! overall this is a great deal
I got faster clicking skill thanks to this game, 10/10
Great game! Please listen to the trigger warning and play when emotionally regulated.

I'm not trans, but I have changed my legal name and on my driver license, I have the gender neutral option checked. Figuring out my identity has been a struggle, and even today I still struggle knowing fully what I am. While I'm fortunate enough to have friends and family that are very open and supportive, this game still really hit home for me. Even though I am a biological female, I've never had a feminine look. More androgynous than anything. When I was young it was easy to tell because I had extremely long hair and of course, wore feminine clothing. When I wanted to cut my hair short is when I really started facing some of the issues presented in this game. For as loving and caring my parents are, my mother was super hesitant at me getting my hair really short. I am Asian like the creator, but I was adopted into a white family. So I never really had the strictness growing up that I hear my other Asian friends talk about. That being said, my mom is just a bit traditional and there's never really been anyone in the family who has identified as LGBTQ+ or is even a person of color. After my hair was cut, I looked a lot like a boy. It was nice that my friends complimented my hair, but I have been misgendered 24/7 after that by strangers. Two events stick out the most. One is when I went to use the bathroom at school and these two students (a boy and girl) were walking by. The boy called out that I was going into the wrong bathroom, but the girl corrected him, saying I was a girl. The second is even more humiliating as when I was washing my hands in a public restroom, a woman came in and full on double checked she was in the right bathroom. She then tried playing it off, saying she thought she was in men's by accident. That one really made me feel like ♥♥♥♥. I'm currently growing my hair out because I want to be more feminine. I don't mind what pronouns people use for me, but I am starting to get a bit uncomfortable. This game, for as simple and short as it was, was impactful. While I am thankful for never enduring hardships like those, I hope the creator is in a better place in a supportive environment. I would recommend this game to honestly everyone.
