Gears of War: Reloaded

Despite this particular game being older than many of the other trending games, it still possess admirable qualities, such as: advanced combat, humorous dialogue, and correct utilization of combat tactics. Overall, the best part about this game is that it has the options to be either a multiplayer or single-player game, which is rare in today's onslaught of fast-paced gaming.

Gears of War Reloaded is a fantastic, simple, straight forward third person shooter. There is plenty of ammo to be collected as you go and a simple variation of weapons to play around with. The story is fun and engaging; it sort of feels like you are in the middle of an interactive, fast-paced cartoon. Co-oping this game is incredibly fun, and I appreciate the many checkpoint saves. The rezzing is fantastic and only takes a split second when either you or your partner dies, so co-oping does not feel punishing at all. Each Act and Chapter can be reasonably finished, as well, without it feeling like it takes forever. Overall, I enjoyed this game very much, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something that is linear and NOT an RPG in any way.
