Awesome game. The game’s art style and characters are the most appealing aspects of the game to me. I can’t help but gush at how adorable Myth, and especially Gura, look in the game. The game’s combat mechanic is nice. It can be simple, but it can allow more advanced players to still have fun too, allowing for some animation cancelling or combo varying, which is fun to put to use, especially in the final boss fight. I would’ve loved to have the ability to manually “lock-on” to enemies and especially bosses. Getting the no-hit achievement with the final boss before the restart feature got added unfortunately became a more frustrating experience than it needed to be. The camera can rotate wildly when the boss moves very quickly, which would often end up causing me to land directly on those expanding AOE attacks. This was my only gripe with the game, but if you don't care about that no-hit achievement, the final boss is still great and it’s the most fun boss to fight in the game. In terms of the other bosses, they were fun to fight too. They were fairly varied and reasonably ramped up in difficulty leading up to the final boss. The game’s platforming is nice too. Although I personally wished it were a bit more challenging, the game’s movement mechanics were still overall fun and satisfying, and made for an enjoyable platforming experience. Ultimately, if you have nothing else to do and want to burn a couple hours or are looking for a cute, short action-platformer, then I recommend this game. But, if you’re a fan of hololive, holoMyth, and especially a fan of Gura, then I absolutely recommend this game because you’ll be in for a treat. All in all, this game is an absolute bread out of 10!
Really fun cute little action platformer game about Gura trying to find her limited edition bread. There was a few small bugs but nothing bad. If you're going for 100% achievements then the last boss fight can be a little bit hard to complete. 10/10
Bread.
I found bread!
Game that really makes you feel like Gawr Gura who just lost her bread. Incredible platforming experience with over 10 jumps and some of the enemies in ALL of gaming. The writing is entertaining and perfect for the roughly 2 hours of content, and the controls demand mastery due to how tight and perfect they are for the acrobatic platforming. I, and undoubtedly many other enlightened buddies, will enjoy 100%-ing this short but infinitely charming experience - and perhaps even doing a few speedrun attempts post completion. All that being said - I think the price point rather charitable on the consumer side. I could easily envision a product like this selling for a few extra dollars, so I think even at full price it is definitely worth the pick-up - and on a sale it's perhaps one of the most effective dollar-to-dopamine since scratch tickets were invented. TLDR: the game is ELECTRIC and THRILLING and RADICAL and you (YOU) should buy it right now - mad props to the developer and looking forward to finishing the game =D!
a cozy game for a couple hours with adorable style, worth waiting 2 years, i really like the jokes and references in this game, it bring the amesame vibes and somewhat nostalgia for 2020-2021 streams (also during the boss fight i wish i could have the respawn option and not just wait until my health drops to 0)
