Reviews
This is a cute and funny platforming game featuring the myth, the shark, the legend Gawr Gura. Embark on an epic quest for bread and save Amelia from the dreaded cliché of being trapped in yet another castle. There are a lot of jokes and references throughout the game, and it features a bunch of Hololive characters from across the cast, with Gawr being the main protagonist. The character interactions are written incredibly well and genuinely feel like you're watching a livestream with how naturally everyone talks to each other. The stages are colorful and full of personality, and the core jumping and platforming mechanics are incredibly smooth and easy to control. It also has a charming soundtrack that fits the atmosphere of the game really well. Overall, it's a really fun and charming platformer, especially if you're already a fan of Hololive.

There was a long standing myth that one day a carefree and somewhat dumb shark girl somehow misplaced and lost a whole loaf of bread. I don't remember if that story ever got closure before she went back home to Atlantis, but this game is a comedic and probably not canon adventure about finding said bread. Also using time travel irresponsibly because of course you have to make terrible and short-sighted decisions for dumb reasons. Jokes aside, this is a short 3D platformer of going through places and finding your bread. The gameplay handles decent enough and the dialogue is cheeky with some good charm to it. Considering the difficulty of this game, boss fights aren't complete pushovers and the vibe is just pleasant overall. If anything, the experience is a bit too short for my taste and could feel like its slightly overpriced, but I think that's just me and what happens when you're used to playing these kinds of games. Otherwise, its good for what it is and I enjoy what it provides.

Fun, cute and charming. A nice little two hour experience with decent platforming and funny writing. My only critique is the price. Sure $8 isn't that much money, but I have gotten way longer indie games for less. I don't regret buying it at all, but I think $5 would have been a more fair price for what you get.
