When I first opened this game, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, as soon as I started playing it, I could tell it had really great arcade style mechanics and I instantly fell in love. Being a zombie killer game, it's actually quite different than most. Instead of trying to avoid the zombies and survive, your incentivized to seek them out and kill them as quickly as possible in order to increase your RAGE meter. Your rage meter unlocks perks as it increases which help you kill more zombies. I spent almost 4 hours playing this game Monday night after work and only stopped because I needed to sleep. Talk about addicting! There are many cool little touches/details to the maps in which you play in that take this game to the next level. You can tell hard work, love and awesomeness got poured into this game. I highly recommend this game!

I got this game for free from a friend of the developer. First things first. The menu music. Absolutely bumps. The game itself is fun, fast paced horde action that i haven't gotten to play in quite a while. The menu's have a ton of polish, and the whole aesthetic is super reminicent of hotline miami. Unlockables come at a nice and steady rate. The titular rage gauge is a neat little passive and active skill mechanic that adds a nice touch to the experience. That said, i've got a few gripes with it. There is way too much rapid flashing. I seriously had to stop playing the game because my eyes hurt from all of the flashing item pickups. Additionally, the only way I ever seem to die is when the game gets so dark that I straight up can't see where the zombies are coming from anymore. Also, the cars have almost no warning of when they're going to show up. I know there's a sound indicatior but if i only hear the car honk after i've been flattened then it's not happening early enough. Plus, deaf players would just have to put up with the fact that there's just no way to tell. All in all though, I'd pick this game up if you've got the money to spare, pretty decent little experience. Probably the only steam game i've ever gotten for free at random from a dev that i'm going to go back and play more.
Gauge of Rage is a fun game, it's progression keeps you involved and there are more than enough levels to keep you playing. I just wish it was updated past what it is currently
Such a good game. Sat down to play it on a live stream for ten minutes, ended up playing for hours! Worth a play.
Thank you so much for showing me this game at megaXP! me and my friend have been playing this back to back. if anyone is curious about its a fun awesome game with weapon upgrades, different maps you can unlock and lots of dificulties.
