Got home after a convention i went to first thing i did was install this game. It was so much fun i played it so long that i unlocked the final map and saw a reference to the office this game keep doing what you guys are doing i'd love to see this game grow to be something bigger :)

I've played a few hours of Gauge of Rage, and had a great time. I want to review this product so that this game can get an actual average and other gamers can find this little fun romp. Gauge of Rage is a zombie horde game, incentivizing rapid zombie kills to fill your Gauge of Rage(makes sense). The items and ultra moves are all entertaining, and at times hilarious. If you want a fun distraction for a few hours, and enjoy top down horde shooting with light progression mechanics, you can't really go wrong with this game. And besides, it's 4$. you'll easily get that much fun out of it within five minutes. Get it, enjoy, review, and spread the word!

Such a good game. Sat down to play it on a live stream for ten minutes, ended up playing for hours! Worth a play.

"Gauge Of Rage" is a rather weak and failed attempt at making a ripoff of Hotline Miami, a very poorly made 2D retro pixel top down shooter... I mean I think it's trying to be retro, it could just look bad because it is bad. The assets are laughably awdful. What do you do in the game? 2D top down retro pixel twin stick shooting, that's what. But this is no Hotline Miami... this GameMaker Studio kitbash focuses on zombie killing and uses a rage meter which, uh, was supposed to make 2D top down retro pixel shooters better. Spoiler: It does not. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $4 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Hotline miamiを思い出す見た目のゾンビをやっつけまくるゲーム。 早いペースでゾンビを倒すとRageゲージが溜まっていき、 段階ごとにバフがもらえて最大までRageが溜まるとRageゲージ全てを消費して強力な範囲攻撃で薙ぎ払える爽快感。 途中でつくバフも何種類かから選んだりできるのもいいかんじです(防御アップとかリロード速度アップとか) 武器も数種類＋強化あるので、好きなものを持ってゾンビを薙ぎ払おう。
