GameLib is an application that brings together several 3D multiplayer mini-games, such as Werewolves Online, Ludo, and Connect 4 (4 in a row). GameLib features an in-app voice chat function, so you can communicate with other players during the game.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.
Warning: Intellectual Property Risks This project contains unauthorized use of copyrighted intellectual property and trademarks. Due to the developers potential liability for infringement of protected works, this may be removed from Steam.

Warning: In-Game Cash Shop This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money/credit card details to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
It's obvious "GameLib" is a blatant, copyright and trademark infringing clone of Connect 4 (Copyright Milton Bradley, 1974), as well as the public domain Werewolf/Mafia and Ludo games. It seems some "amateur" developers think copyright laws are optional, choosing to ripoff games from real developers without conscience. Beyond the obvious ethical and creative bankruptcy involved stealing other people's game ideas, they failed the basic rule of game design: if you are going to rip off someone else's game, you have to at least try to improve on it. Instead, "GameLib" is much worse than the original Connect 4, Ludo and so on. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. Let's talk about pricing and the actual value this has for gamers. This game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at only 9 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? Not on a bet. This might be "free", but I still feel like I got almost as ripped off as Milton Bradley. Is that the sound of lawyers I can hear?

It has definitely potential to be even better :)
