An interesting, emotional little game about a friendship between a man and a very good boy. There's a little bit of horror as well, but I'd say it's mainly a story-focused game. Needs a free mode, where you can just walk the dog in peace. During the day, when it's not scary. [spoiler]Objectively:[/spoiler] 7.5/10

3/10 Game feels incomplete and choppy with its many loading screens. The game is filled with filler mundane tasks (ie. feeding the dog, filling its water bowl, starting a bath) feel pointless and rushed. The game focuses on walking your dog through a rice field, and as the days pass your unease grows as you notice strange things happening around you. Though most of these odd happenings left me feeling confused rather than disturbed, as some are rather ridiculous. [spoiler] ie. road raging truck driver, demon child shrieking as he runs past me, random figure covered in blood running down road, weird rake looking cryptid leaping across the back yard, alien at the front door. Zombies in the fields? Alien in the garage? What is going on?[/spoiler] There is way too much text and no way to skip it. More text than there is game play. I am also super frustrated on Day 3, I've played this scene so many times and get killed in the field by fire. It is super tedious to walk to this scene so retrying it is so annoying. The dog has to stop every 10 seconds and I get killed every time. Not fun. I looked forward to this game for its horror genera but it is a let down. I recommend getting this one on sale.
