A simple game with some really bad controls. It's free so why not try it? See just how bad it can get! It's not just the controls that are poor, but also the game mechanics. So here's how it goes: First thing you see is a big white button marked "新規ゲーム開始" which is "Start New Game" in Japanese. Click that and the timer begins counting down immediately and while you're reading these words you're squandering your time to hopefully at least get a B rank. So how do you actually play? It tries to tell you (again in Japanese) but this time uses red letters that blend in with the dude's shirt so you have trouble reading it. It says "きこりをクリックしてください” which means "Please click on the Lumberjack" and then you see "木をクリックしてください” which means "Please click on the tree" and that's all the instructions you get. I initially thought the orange meter was his fatigue level (because who wouldn't get tired trying to chop a tree down?) but no, it's how much wood he's carrying. When he can carry no more, he will automatically go back to the house and dump it off, and then the "木" meter at the top right will go up. I think he only holds 30 wood at a time, so keep that in mind. Oh and you see a red meter over the tree showing how close it is to being chopped down. Did I mention you only have 2 real minutes to do this as fast as you can? If you're low on time it makes sense to go back to the house early to deposit the wood you've gotten so you can finally stop hearing the whining sounds of D and E rank. So why is this game bad? Well, in short, it's the click/click system combined with very narrow spots to click on. The woodsman is rather small, and you have to make sure to click on the base of the tree, not the tops of the tree (because I guess who would want to start chopping down a tree at the top? amirite?) and so most of your lost time will be from missing a click on the guy, then missing a click on the base of the tree, and then if you choose to go to the top of the screen your guy will go back to the house and be concealed by the house so you'll be like "Oh ♥♥♥♥ I've got like 54 seconds left! Where'd my dude go? I don't know where to click!" and by the time you've figured it out, you've already brought great shame upon your family for generations. Otherwise the concept could be considered strategic. Pick the closest tree, don't try to chop it down completely, just fill up on wood, go back to the house and immediately try the next closest tree and fill up completely again, THEN go back to the first tree and maybe finish it off. If you have enough time, try to gather as much as possible and return before time is up. Change Mouse clicks for controller to move the woodsman, make the woodsman show an arrow or an outline when he's obscured by something else, (or maybe make it semi-transparent so he can be seen), maybe think about giving a little more time... Maybe for each tree actually chopped down you get some bonus time? Oh and maybe you could vary the trees up a bit more so that it would maybe make sense to tackle a big tree to start and a smaller tree later, or maybe go for a bunch of smaller trees to rack up the bonus time? Whatever the case, in its current state it's a minigame at best. It's free but it's still bad. EDIT: one of the Japanese reviewers made mention of "Silver" and I completely forgot the other thing at the top of the screen next to 木. It does say 銀 but unless I've seen a kanji 1000 times it's just hard to read. How do you get Silver? Nobody knows, but I bet this was something planned, like maybe you'd have a guy show up periodically to trade and you'd sell your wood stockpile for silver?
reall fun yes good game
何でかわかんないけど見つけた。 ここからどんなアプデが来るか楽しみです
"Savaş dönemi Lumberjack", Japonya'da Savaşan Devletler döneminde bir simülasyon oyunu yapma sürecinde olan bir mini oyundur.
Everyone says 'E' but I say 'A'. Only real ones understand
Well, I have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea what the point of this game is other then make you go deaf. It’s definitely a game, if you like chopping down one tree before the game ends and E appears on your screen then rinse and repeat.
