Went to google translate and it said stuff about fire bombs and clothing stores.
Before I played 暗黑MU, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Warning: Microtransaction infested browser game! This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
"云巅" (aka Cloud Peak) is just another low-effort browser game polluting the "free" section on Steam, and it carries hidden, toxic monetization... this is a glorified webpage, not a real PC game. So this is another Chinese webpage pretending to be a PC game... but it's not just any web page. This browser game is one of those copy + pasted "browser MMOs" with the veneer of being an RPG, and with all progress paygated by MTX, and every PvP outcome is determined by who spends the most money in the cash shop. Yes, this is cancer. And have you looked at these games? They all look the same because they all just use the same assets. Slightly different name, different bank account behind the toxic cash shop, but otherwise all the same. This is a purely superficial game-like "experience" designed for a web browser, repackaged to look like a real PC game when it isn't. The graphics and the mechanics are Adobe Flash-tier... imagine the gaudy, cheap plastic casing on the slot machines at the casino. That's what this is, a cheap flashy veneer on a shallow non-game with one purpose... to bleed you dry through mobile-tier microtransactions. Ignoring the greedy mobile-tier monetization and toxic cash shop... this is just a browser game masquerading as if it was a PC game. I didn't drop thousands on a high-end gaming rig just to use it as a web browser, and I doubt you did either... Steam is not here to compete with Chrome. This website is just a desperate cash grab by a greedy web developer to find a wider audience for their browser scam. There's no English translation for this, but that's okay. The language of bad products is universal. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Let's talk about price and the value this represents for us gamers. This game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. In terms of public reception, the "free" price tag didn't help. This peaked at a handful of players and then immediately cratered. With a peak count of less than 50 gamers (out of over 130 million gamers and over 40 million daily logons), it’s safe to say the PC gaming community has collectively decided to ignore this, probably because of the reasons supplied in this review. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? What's the verdict? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. I didn't pay money, but I still feel ripped off.
