Recomendado!!!!!
The game offers an impressive selection of 20 ships, each with different health, speed, and main weapon damage stats, along with three possible special weapons. However, you can only equip one special weapon during a mission. The biggest problem is that you have no way of comparing a newly purchased ship with your current one because its stats remain hidden until after you buy it. That means you could easily spend your hard earned money on something that ends up being worse than what you already have. Fortunately, earning enough money for a new ship usually takes only a mission or two, so it is more of an inconvenience than a major setback. Still, I honestly found little reason to switch from the default ship. It is more than capable of carrying you through the entire game. On top of that, changing ships means starting the leveling process all over again, which feels like a waste of time when there is no way of knowing whether the new ship will actually be an upgrade. If you really want to experiment, it is probably best to wait until the later sectors when money becomes plentiful and you can simply buy levels instead of grinding them. Apart from the starter ship, every vessel must be purchased with the game's currency. Prices gradually increase, but your progress is also limited by how many sectors you have completed. There are five sectors in total, each consisting of five stages that must be cleared in order to finish that sector. Once you enter a stage, the gameplay follows the classic shoot'em up formula. You fly in from the left side of the screen while enemies approach from the right, blasting everything in sight while collecting the rewards they leave behind. Thankfully, there is an auto fire option in the settings, which saves your fingers from constant button mashing. Besides your main weapon and whichever special weapon you have equipped, you also have access to a rechargeable bomb that damages most, if not all, enemies currently on the screen. Unfortunately, the stages themselves are not memorable. Aside from different backgrounds, you spend most of your time fighting the same enemies appearing in familiar patterns. The objective is simply to survive while destroying everything until the stage comes to an end. Every sector features a boss that you fight twice, once at the end of the third stage and again after the fifth. Despite having to destroy their weapons before attacking the main hull, bosses rarely put up much of a fight and usually go down surprisingly quickly. Defeated enemies drop experience icons that fill your experience bar when collected. Every enemy drops one icon, but its value depends on the enemy type and difficulty. Each time you level up, you open the upgrade screen and spend a skill point on one of the available upgrades. These upgrades are split into three categories. The first focuses on your ship's core attributes, including health, health regeneration, and speed. The second improves your main weapon through additional projectiles, increased damage, and a faster fire rate. The final category is dedicated to your special weapon. As mentioned earlier, you can only equip one special weapon during a mission, and once selected, it fires alongside your main gun while gaining access to the same three upgrades, namely projectile count, damage, and fire rate. Each upgrade can be improved multiple times, making it more effective with every point invested. Some upgrades come with trade offs, though. Increasing the number of projectiles, for example, reduces the damage dealt by each individual shot. Thankfully, the game lets you respec your build at any time without any cost, allowing you to freely move points around if you are not happy with your choices. This flexibility is especially welcome because ship levels carry over between missions and remain permanently tied to the ship you are currently using. The more you play with a particular ship, the stronger it becomes. Beyond upgrading individual ships, the game also includes permanent perks that can be purchased from the main menu. These are unlocked gradually as you complete more sectors and are bought using coins earned automatically from defeated enemies. You can only equip three perks at once, though, and you begin with just a single perk slot. The remaining two have to be unlocked through progression, just like the rest of the game's features.

Recomendadisimo!
I would indeed prescribe this sweet little side scroller to other gamers!!!,... You get a good amount of *BANG!* FOR YOUR BUCK, replayable feelings as you have so many other ships/crafts to unlock. I think the only issue that bothers me is that when you use a new craft/ship, or even current ship!!, it does not remember or scroll forward onto the next level naturally,... and as there are zero names to each level you can get lost as to what level you played on as it always puts you back to LvL 1.
Fun addictive game for casual/short gaming seasons. Lots of ships with different stats/secondary weapons and perk combinations you can make to compete for the top scores. And runs perfectly on Deck even it the support isn't mentioned in its Steam page.
Only if you REALLY like grinding
Because grinding is all that the game has to offer. Just a long grind, until you hit a wall and can't increase your XP fast enough anymore, then you have the option of playing in the difficult mode or grinding more to just buy levelups with in-game currency. Even though the game looks like a shmup, there is very little skill involved, it plays like a survivor-like, with even less options than in a survivor. Of course you can enjoy upgrading some of the ships weapons and see how they look at max power, the graphics and effects are rather cool and good quality. But it's a short lived fun, and some of the weapons act very similar. I only put a thumb up because I got the game for free, otherwise it would be a thumb down
(follow my curator page GenXPlayers for more retro and indie reviews)
