G-Scramble provides a fun and quick playthrough
G-Scramble is a quick bullet shooter type game that is pretty easy to play and score all achievements in. You get to pick between two types of ship to use being Type-A and Type-B which have different ways of shooting. Personally I prefer Type-B as I had more fun with that ship. There are also some powerups you can collect along the way that either increase power, speed, or the amount of bombs you have. As for the difficulty of this game, it is rather easy and I had no trouble playing it despite my lack of skill for these types of games. (I still love to play them anyway and played a bunch on my 360.) If you are just here for the achievements don't worry as you will have no problem nabbing them all. If you are new to the genre and not sure if you should try this or not, go for it. I feel it is a pretty good starting point and if you enjoy what you play here, than you no doubt will enjoy moving onto more and more games that play like this. Pros of this type of game will most likely not have as much fun as a player who is new to the genre or is not as skilled at playing these kinds of games, but it is still a fun time trying to make your mark on the leaderboards and is a very quick playthrough. I really appreciate how there is leaderboards for this game divided into two separate boards, one for each type of ship. I feel this adds to the replay value and will motivate players to try and complete the stage better and better to reach as far at they possibly can. If you find doing this enjoyable you will no doubt love trying your hand at other games in this genre. Personally I like this game. I find it very fun to try and rank higher on the leaderboards and it is perfect for when I want to play something quick.

Fun and free little shooting game! Also quite easy to 100%
"G-Scramble" is an extremely badly made arcade shoot 'em up/bullet hell slapped together using a construction kit (the Shooting Game Builder). Take a look for yourself, you can see the "developer" didn't even bother replacing the stock template placeholder art assets. Why? Because they're trying to advertise their crappy construction kit with what is frankly a trash game demo. But we have to ask what value this has for gamers... and the answer is none. This kind of junk gives indie devs a bad name. It also makes it harder for genuine indie devs who've done the right thing to find an audience for their games. It makes it harder for gamers to find sincerely made games. It's not harmless to pollute Steam with advertisements in this way. This is not the same as an indie dev trying to dump an advertisement for a complete game on Steam. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this don't understand that. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
