About
Future? No Thanks! is a narrative-driven, open-world adventure set in an ecosocialist utopia. The year is 2045, and society has never been better: climate change is finally being tackled, democracy thrives, and technology serves the public good.
There's just one problem: you.
You are Harvey Huffstone, a grumpy elder who no longer fits in, and today is the last day of your life.
Your final mission? Completing your bucket list before your self-scheduled euthanasia.
Indulge in outdated pleasures, explore a post-post-industrial Midwest, clash with a society that's moved on without you, and maybe, just maybe, leave with fewer regrets.

Explore a lively city, meet its wacky inhabitants, and complete 7 non-linear quests over 6 hours of gameplay.

An artisanal game made with locally sourced talent and minimal involvement from capitalists, marketers, or profiteers.

In a medium dominated by dystopias, Future? No Thanks! imagines a political project for the present.

It's the game we need right now, full stop. Also, it's really funny and smart. Love it!
I grew up playing the Molleindustria flash games, way before I understood what I was playing. Having grown up and been many times over very disappointed by the media that I was raised on: I was very happy to rediscover Molleindustria. This game is a gem that makes me less ashamed to hunch over my desk and be mean to people in a video game, because I get to feel smart and politically educated while I do so. I was jetlagged and couldn't make the [untitled games event] to say it in person so: Thank you!!
Light on mechanics, but filled with jokes. Well executed and polished. If you like simple 3d adventures that mostly rely on writing, progressive politics and making fun of them at the same time, this is for you

I enjoyed this game significantly more than I thought I would. The voice acting and writing are so charming, it feels like every single line of dialogue is worth hearing. The animations and camera work are shockingly dynamic for a primarily solo-dev-d game. The production value is legitimately impressive. This filed a "TellTale Games" shaped hole in my heart. I legitimately can't recommend giving this game a shot enough.
