Full Service is my favorite VN out of all I've ever played so far. Starting from the theme, the art, the soundtrack, and of course all the hot men. There really is something for everyone in the Yaoi/BL community here. Hell, even the game's intro made me tear up a bit, haha!
You play as Tomoki, a hottie and a workaholic dude who deems himself as boring or bland, a simple man, and is quite modest of himself, especially with his looks. He eventually bumps into someone on the street, a man who works from the famous spa called "Full Service" which of course serves happy endings... and that's where all the fun begins.
The gameplay is simple, very simple actually. Hisami, who is your co-worker, sadly fell into the demise of the unfortunate fate of becoming the tutorial/guide character around the start of the game. Basically, you get Mani from working your day job, which is the game's money currency, and spend it on gifts. You can then give said gifts to any character you want in your free time, and then go out with them. That's how you build relationships with the cast, just showering them with gifts and then going out with them. Of course, some CGs and endings are locked behind relationship levels, meaning you have to make sure to give a character their favorite gifts every now and then when they're available. Another way of getting gifts is from Kacha, an adorable baby elephant in the spa. Their name is a play on words of Gacha I believe, as the gifts you get from them are random drops and some gifts are only obtainable through them. You can only visit Kacha once per-day. The endings aren't hard or challenging at all to get, and you'll even be rewarded with a bonus! Which is an extra ending and a fully "spicy" animated scene for each character you get a perfect ending with.
The cast on the other hand is interesting. Each with their own theme and arc, I'd say the cast is honestly quite diverse, each of them suit different types any Yaoi/BL enjoyer would love, along with their different personalities, body types, and overall character. It's impressive how much the creators were able to write fleshed-out characters well enough, granted of course with some cheesy lines but that just adds to the game's silly, fun, and upbeat charm, accompanied with beautiful art for each. Seriously, I was quite impressed with some of the art pieces these characters have, and no, I'm not only referring to the "spicy" CGs. ;) (As of writing this review, I have over more than 550 screenshots of the art...) However! I do agree that around the end of the game, the story felt a bit rushed. But the game's overall presentation, themes, characters arcs and obviously... the art, make up for it.
However, let's move on to the price of the game. It's... $40, not cheap for a VN. I've read other reviews, and I realized how controversial this topic is for this game. Honestly? It's not a scam, now hear me out! The amount of content this VN has is insane, unless you bought the game with the sole intention of only romancing one character and ignoring the rest, you wouldn't feel scammed. Spending this much money and going for only one character, and then proceed to stop playing after that is a waste. I would agree that if the price was a bit cheaper, 20$ or something, then the game would have definitely sold more, especially with the fact it barely goes on sale. I've had it on my wishlist for a year, until it finally got a 69% discount (love that pun) and I literally leaped out of joy when I noticed, then bought it in a heartbeat. How could I not anyway, with a perfect discount like that!?
In conclusion, Full Service is an amazing and honestly a breath of fresh air in the Yaoi/BL community, definitely worth trying, and if it ever eventually goes on sale I'd highly recommend buying it right then and there. This game is a treasure for the community, and does a splendid job of fitting into it's niche, the creators really worked hard and poured their heart, soul and sweat into creating this gem, and they deserve all the praises. <3
