About

Stand against dark forces with a combat system that is challenging yet fair. Dedicate your successful quests to the Pantheon and gain their blessings. Gather various divine relics and tap their powers. Do you want to be a Sanctified Juggernaut, smashing evil into fragments? An Unyielding Stalwart, watching while wicked washes off your proud armor? The choice is yours.

Your success draws the ire of local Warlords. A challenge issued; and one the Warlords are happy to respond to. Hold fast against the armies brought to bear against the Paladin Order's Fort. However, wielding a fast blade will not be enough to prevail. Utilize traps, turrets and barricades devised by the clever members of your Order, while the stronger members will follow your orders on the battlefield.

As Titus and his Order venture deeper into the Crater, there are opportunities to add valuable skills to the fledgling Order. Recruit, rescue or persuade those whose skills may give the Order another edge against evil.

Titus follows his Master and their foundling Order and descends into the Crater, an ugly scar gouged into the heart of the Old Empire. As a Paladin Acolyte, Titus is still learning the blade and deciding whether a Paladin's life is for him. When the Crater turns out to be far more dangerous than they expected, the new Order must band together to survive.

This is a great game! Must buy if you like action rpgs and tower defense!
Having an ABSOLUTE BLAST! The game feels so much better than the demo and the boss fights are actually fun! Might 100% this one!
Just put in < 2 hrs of this game, have played the demo too. I checked out SS's last game also, whcih while niche i enjoyed. They've really leveled up here. This is a game of WEIGHT. Each swing is deliberate, positioning important, mistakes punishing. Take it slow, soak in the battles (both combat and the TD portions, which are a bit easy so far but its early days). I like the mix as well of the 2, and i hope it ramps up both elements (and melds em together) to 11 when i get deeper. Some menu jank and a few UI improvements to be made, but the game has some good bones. A bit more polish and we are looking one of 2026's indie gems
I really wanted to like this game. On paper, everything about this game appeals to me, from the core mechanics to the art presented. The glaring negatives: - Twice dodge rolled into a wall and got stuck, forcing myself to reload a save and lose progress. - Computer turned into an oven on just medium settings. - Zones are a mile wide with nothing in them. - Music a complete afterthought. - Next-to-no tactile feedback from hitting enemies. - Map feels impressively unhelpful. I think there is a good game here. Maybe when they add the roguelike gamemode it'll feel more tightened up and straight to the fun bits, but right now I have to give it a hard no.
Trash. Just trash. Current state of the game is unacceptable. This is not a full release but an early access title and one I can not recommend at that. I did not even play this one a lot but I already witnessed multiple bugs, clanky animation and horrible UX feedback from perfect-timed attacks. And then there are traps... I did not pay attention while buying but the traps are actually pretty useless (on low level that is). You have baricade, a fire pit (takes ages to reload, deals next to no damage) and caltrops (deals no damage, useless to you anyway) and that's it (you also unlock turrets that shoot once a year a bit later). Pathetic. So most of the time you will be simply raw dogging the enemies without witnessing any use from the defensive structures. Honorable mentions to: UI bugs, tutorial telling you to press "." on your controller, being unable to even pick dialogue options, skills missing due to a single step worth of elevation, charged attack taking ages to charge, parry being the worst abomination I've seen in a couple of year and so on. Please note that I played this game for a total of nothing hours and I guarantee you there are more things to come. Back to the EA hell with you!
First, the positive. The game has a nice art style and looks well crafted. The music is appropriate if rather generic. There is also a lot of written lore for this game, and it may go deep. However, I was frustrated from minute one by the clunky controls. Your character feels like a fridge on a Roombah in the way he lumbers around. The game recommends using controller, and I'm not sure if that's the right call. I was constantly baffled by constant prompts to press and hold this or that or the other to do something, but that button never seemed to actually do what it said even after messing with the settings. I also, pet-peeve, HATE when you have to use the shoulder buttons to switch between menus when just pressing left or right makes exactly as much sense and is far, far easier. Worse, they have nested menu under nested menu, so you are still switching between directions, shoulders, bumpers, and every other unnecessary button abomi-combination to do the simplest things. Everything is far, far more complicated than it should be on top of being under-explained. There is a sort of build mode (I guess my paladin came from Ye Olde Land of Fortnite?) that seems absolutely unnecessary and is even clunkier and more poorly explained than every other part of the game. Full disclosure, I got about 45 minutes in and was done-zo. Maybe it gets better, maybe I should have tried mouse and keyboard, but I did the game as it recommended and had zero fun times.
What a smooth gameplay. Combat is really nice. Boss fight was real fun. I thought the dude would almost destroy entire swamp region. Also the game has no bugs, maybe 1 or 2 glitches but can be fixed. when do you see a game without bugs. this one is worth it.
First of all the game looks every optimised & polished from the demo i played in past. The action scenes & boss fights are cool & little but tough for me. In starting, finding the area and doing quest is confusing with any guide or we have to spend lot of time there. I found a glitch too where the fire wall in combat zone occurred before i enter that zone then i can't go to that zone & have to giveup life there. Overall pretty decent/good experience for me. I happy to continue this paladin journey further.
Suprisingly fun. Went into this one with no expectations but it's a decent so far. It takes a while to get into the actual TD areas though and there is A LOT of text, but the game can be played without reading :P
Interesting mix of Action RPG with tower defense elements, which was a nice surprise. The visuals are solid and the overall style really stands out. I did run into a few bugs here and there, but nothing game-breaking. Overall, I’m having fun so far and curious to see how it evolves.
